I'm saying it is easy to make friends online in this game.

And if you help them, they will help you.

I'm just amazed that people go this far out of their way to be "safe" (or risky depending on how you look at it) when this whole damn thing is supposed to be based on teamwork.

I find it baffling.

I'll make GTA friends at my own pace; I don't appreciate being pushed.

If I have a friend, it'll be because I like the person and/or think they're good at the game; not because the CEO work has pushed me to do it.

I'm not really sure what you're talking about when you say I want to be "safe". I think you might be mistakenly thinking I'm suggesting a closed session. That's not what I'm suggesting. What I'm suggesting could be in public too - I'm just saying we should be able to carry more crates, or at least pack them up in our vehicles (which are specially designed for that very purpose).

I mean, Cargobob? Cargobob?

What is it with you people not having friends?

What if most of your friends are people you know from reality; not the game?

Not only that, but being on Xbox One, I'm not able to meet up with many of the people here, so that option goes out the window in a hurry.

Besides, if I want to play by myself, who are you to judge? Should I gather all my friends when I go to the toilet too? Everything's got to have friends right?

you are doing a full warehouse sale, ypu get the mission to deliver 3 trucks to different locations, so you get 2 friends to do the job with you...

you get in a brickade, your other friends get on the other 2, halfway to the delivery location one of your friends lags out, mission ends abruptly and you lose all the crates.

seriously not worth the risk, i'd rather do them solo and i can only blame myself if something goes wrong.

At any given time, I have at least 25 friends online playing Grand Theft Auto Online.

Take some initiative.

Add people.

It is easy to have a friends list full of people playing this game.

Unless you're a stuck up, lonely, holier than though, delusional prick.

Seriously. It's easy to find online friends to play this game with. You guys are ridiculous.

Your also under the assumption our friends have nothing better todo. I have 4 friends that play daily and 2 are too busy filling up their own warehouses to help me.

and the other 2 split up to help the first 2 since they are too poor/not incentivized enough to buy an office and warehouse

Fair enough.

Just add more friends. I'm always excited to make a new friend. If someone is even remotely friendly and helpful, I add him.

You might be surprised how eager others are to make new friends.

I have - literally - hundreds of people on my friends list who play GTAO. Not all at once of course. But I've counted and seen the number of friends I have online active in sessions (at the same time) peak at around 100.

You simply have to take the initiative.

If you don't want to, then yeah, things are going to be tough... Or lonely.

Like I said, I only add people I actually like or want to play with. Not just countless random guys.

I don't need you or the game to worry about if I'm lonely lol. I don't rely on this game for companionship.

I just don't really see why someone wouldn't want to be able to load up their vehicle with goods. But you're welcome to your opinion anyway. If you don't mind, it's really late here, and I'm tired. So I'll leave you guys to argue it out lol. Just try not to get this locked.

Well yeah that's something to bear in mind - I mean, who wants to be the guy getting paid $10k while your friend gets $2,220,000?

I just don't think you should have to rely on having someone there who's willing to help you (for a pay that's basically buttons). We should be able to load up the goods in a Brickade, Cargobob, or Annihilator (gives the poor guy a purpose).

It's not countless random guys. It's symbiotic video gaming partnerships and occasionally genuine friendships. Stop fighting my suggestion of making more friends!

With a good CEO you can make over 100k an hour as an associate. And it's free mode. That counts for novelty points.

Everybody is a critic.

And loading up with more goods would definitely be cool.

But why would they want us to make money faster?!

That's what the punk-ass Pacific Standard Heist glitch is for.

We should be able to carry multiple crates, it's the reason I stick to 2 crate shipments. Only do the stupid journey twice. It doesn't help sometimes you're like "Oh hey, I have four people!" Start the third shipment and...... "Organization members left the lobby" x2. Well f*ck me.

The water one is the most annoying by yourself. -_-

None of the new vehicles make sense as a transport in terms of gameplay.

And none of them in terms of protection. Because Hydras. One of the reasons i do transport in Hydra myself.

It is at least a little bit faster.

I just feel like there are a few things (small changes) that could make this update much more enjoyable for lone wolves.

First of all, being limited to carrying one crate per person makes it a drag if you're the only person there. Then you're going back and forth over and over. You have to make the same journey 3 times, and well, it's just a drag.

XczvrIZ.gif

I get it. They're trying to get people to play together. Which I guess is good. Ish. But it feels like you're missing out quite a lot just for not having 2 friends both always there at the same time as you.

We should be able to carry all the crates on one person. Or at least let us pack up the crates into a vehicle. They could even make it that some vehicles have a higher capacity than others (could give more use to trucks, and big helicopters like the Annihilator).

Also, what about letting us use the missile jammer on our own? They could easily have put it as an option in the weapon selection, so why do we need another player with us to use what should be as simple as switching "weapon" and pressing A/X?

I don't want to come across as I'm b*tching too much. I've enjoyed the update, loved that we can get Cargobobs again, like the FMJ, and having a new way of getting money is refreshing. But I feel like the two suggestions above would make it a lot better for those of us who tend to play solo.

Not at all...on the contrary.

Ceo payouts shoud be nerfed, associate payouts shoud be buffed and destroying other people their cargo shoud be undone but it shoud be posible to steal other ppl their cargo

Why on Earth would you want to do that lol?

Associate payouts should get buffed, and it should be possible to steal the cargo of others. I agree on those.

That doesn't have that much to do with packing a vehicle with cargo though.

One actualy woud find more associates...also if enemy players can steal youre cargo they woudnt just destroy it...and overall ceo deliveries woud be more pvp forcing people to work in group and...make explosives useless for anything.

hell...imagen if the one that blows up cargo gets 10 000 pulled from their bank acount

So yea....disagree completely

I'd probably remain a lone wolf though. The few people I could play with are mostly playing other games, and like I said, I don't tend to make new friendships just because the game's pushing that.

Everyone has a right to their own opinions though, so thanks for the feedback.

Seriously. It's easy to find online friends to play this game with. You guys are ridiculous.

Over the past 2 years here, I've been backstabbed not once or twice, but three times, by people who I could call friends and that I could actually trust. At this point, I just don't feel like getting new friends or trusting people. Not if that's how things are going to end. If I do end up talking to someone now I'm either really, really cautious or stick strictly to the topic of the conversation, to avoid it happening again.

As far as adding people on friends lists go, I wait until they send me a request. If they want to be friends with me, they'll send me a friend request, otherwise I won't bother them in case they don't want to be friends. I always accept unless I have a reason not to. I've only sent a friend request to one person in the past few months because that person was actually nice and had true skill in this game.

Most in-game friendships (for me at least) are basically: play once, send a friend request, never play together. Of 70 or so friends on XBL I only play with about 10 of them nowadays. The rest has either moved on, never came back online, or are literally the case of play once together and then never play again. I've played with two really decent people last year - we were just doing heists and these guys knew what they were doing. They were not screwing up, and they had a nice sense of humour. Unfortunately it was 3am for me so we couldn't do Pac Standard, so I added them for the next time. We never played Pac Standard, or GTA in general, again after that. I know for a fact they didn't do the heist without me since one of these two (who was also the host) was missing the achievement, they just stopped playing GTA or just aren't online at all.

I have 3 (out of 6-7) IRL friends that could help me out but the problem is, one moved to Xbox One and has sh*t internet anyway (he can't even download the updates because of that), the other literally bought a 360 a few months ago and he is rarely online when I actually have the time so upgrade and consistent gameplay is out of question, the third one is who I could rely on since we'll be both moving to PS4 once his XBL runs out and I will actually get a PS4 - so at the moment we can't play any of the new content together. I have the game on PC so I can play with the newest content but I have a no-PvP rule so lone-wolfing is something I need to do there. I know a few decent people on PC which didn't end up as a one-time-only case, but because of the challenge I started we have very limited in-game interaction in case they kill me, or I kill them. On PC I can easily block ports anyway so that noone will be able to join me (and vice versa) and I will always have an empty public session - if any friends want/ask me to join them, I'll join, otherwise I stay alone.

Regardless, getting new friends is not going to help me anything. Of all those I have already, they either do something else that's more important than just a game, or don't have current-gen. While on current-gen platforms I know people I could rely on but the challenges are preventing most player interaction which makes any support redundant if I'm going to solo it all anyway.

So is it not common knowledge that you can simply change the MTU setting on the PS4 and get a solo public lobby whenever you want? Takes like 10 seconds to change and you're placed in your own public lobby without so much as an invite let alone another player joining. I spend my time in an empty "public" lobby running Sightseeer and Headhunter while fetching a crate during their lengthier cool down time frames. My warehouse is half stacked with 2k crates and I average about 170k an hour (not counting the crates). I've only ever really played this CEO thing solo.

That said...everyone plays differently. I'm very social with a good group of real life friends. I have a band, a long term girlfriend, a career and a bunch of other hobbies that generally occupy my down time. When I play video games I just want to chill. Not many of my real life friends keep the same hours as me (example: I got home from work at 3:15am this morning) and often times I just want to run a few missions, chase down a few baddies and put a nice little end cap on my day. If anything I find interacting with people online a weird form of anti-social socialization. I don't value any the relationships I've formed over playing GTA. There are a couple of players I'll join a heist with if they ask, and even fewer that I'll refrain from shooting on the spot in freemode, but I sure as sh*t can't tell you their real life names or even where they're from...I don't care.

So yeah, I'd love to see the ability to lone wolf the sh*t out of this stuff...but I already do that anyhow.

That's not entirely what I meant.

What is it with you people not having friends?

Got friends, family, etc... Play with them all the time. Tell me why we have to pick and choose who is going to be CEO? Compete with my wife over crates?

I rather believe it is you public ninnies who have no friends. After all, who wants a friend that is just a low life, mouthy pest? That is going to act like a complete child for the sole reason no one can really stop them, cause if I have to stop collection crates for one minute I'm already losing. Whether or not I make you rage quit, I have still lost time, time I don't wish to spend taking you out.

OT, IT would make sense to allow a create to occupy an empty passenger seat, and would make sense to let us buy more than 3 at a time

I still the its moronic they gave us the new rumpo and eluded to it being used to transport cargo, which it is but by NPC's only. I sold a kidney to buy and mod a bullet proof cargo van that has done nothing but gather dust since I got it. We should be able to interact with the trunks of vehicles, put all 3 crates inside 1 by 1 then drive off. Even better would be the ability to remove cargo from the npc vehicles and put them in our custom cargo vehicles because **** the Surfer, **** the mule, **** the camper, and especially **** the Journey.

Same here. Most my friends either don't play games, or don't play this game. I spend plenty of time inside too.

I just don't have a strong will to gather random people as friends.
