Do you feel forced into getting 'Orange Grove' tattoo?

During my second play through I had the orange grove tattoo on CJ's back. But then changed it to San Fierro on the back.

It's not like I'm betraying the 'hood'! After all, CJ destroys ALL of gang members if you choose so before the riot mission. The gang literately is useless & I prefer to take over Territories solo.

How do you go about this so called 'Loyalty' to the hood in the name of green & ink? ( For me, it's the action that counts )

Having fun trying different things.

I think as long as CJ doesn't kill any Grove Street members, then he's still loyal to the hood.

No. After a few plays I do not bother with Tattoos at all.

The boost to Girlfriends sex appeal and Respect is just not worth the Money.

Oysters, and Turf wars do the job rather nicely.

I know. I just enjoy having fun with it. Before the story remotely starts in the Jonson's house I have my 50 Oysters done, Hitman levels all done. All side quest done. My cousin raised an awareness about how I should, but for me as a gamer it's a way to enjoy. I did wondered about that for a minute, truth be told.:)

As long as the Respect bar is fulled up :)

Nah, but seriously, the gang for CJ is not as overriding as it looks to Sweet, so, as soon as you don't kill any of the GSF members/control more territories it's all good.

As soon as the GSF members will realize that CJ is wearing something that they like, they will assess him in a good manner.

Yeah I always wear Grove Street clothes and have the Orange Grove tattoo for CJ during the LS arc, just fits better.

It's a Thug Life, Yo!

I've tried most of them several game runs ago.

Pressured? Buy the things the other members say?.......hmmm......it's crossed my mind becuase of them but...PRESSURE comes from only a few different things, internal vs external.

Internally to me it is a game....for CJ it is a way of life.

Externally....it's a game.....for CJ it has consequences and that includes people with weapons on him or backing him up.

It depends on how you choose to play the game and what matters to you in your immersion/emergence experience with the game.

I never used tattoos after my first play through, Mainly because the the way CJ looks you can't see them.

Homemade Dynamite

I don't even bother getting tattoos, I don't like any of them.

Never liked the tattoos in the game. It's said that tattoos increase respect from CJ's homies, but I really can't see how. Some would even criticize you for having them (including the Orange Grove one). The only time I've bothered with tattoos was when I found this nice tribal wings tattoo online, and thought it would go well with my traceur CJ mod.

I never bothered getting them put on after my first playthrough. Also, most clothing would hide them anyway, hence them being rather pointless.

Well, everyone has there take or rather say, Point of view which is what each gamer has its preference.

I put SF on the back, where Leather & not give af what the game dictates me to do. :)

As a gamer it's fun to enjoy since this game in era of time, others didn't offer this. Like safe house and such to buy.

Interesting take on all. Peace:)

I loved the tattoos in the game. In fact i spent a lot of time changing CJs look trough the storyline. Every time when i went to a new city, i changed CJs clothes, haircut and of corse his tattoos to fit in the new location. For an example : Grove Street and Gangster Tatoos in Los Santos, Weed and Maya Tattoo in San Fierro and rich man outfit with golden cornow in Las Venturas after getting sh*t load of money from the casino heist.
