Why not add a damage multiplier against jets?

According to the GTA Wiki, the Heavy revolver has a 1.6x multiplier against all vehicles(60% more damage). So why not just make the Minigun and Heavy Sniper rifle have a very similar damage multiplier against the Hydra and Lazer only? No need for an extra damage multiplier against the Savage or Valkyrie, they're too fragile anyway.

Yes, you love the status quo. Yes, you wish everyone would shut up because the status quo suits you. No, people aren't going to shut up. Yes, more discussion will happen over jets until they're rendered balanced. Yes, you should get over that and leave the threads if you don't like it.

 

Now that that's established!

 

Is it possible? Yes. Is it the best solution? No. Jets can be made to smoke with the heavy sniper already, after some effort. The lack of penalty for losing a jet is the real problem.

People haven't been complaining about jets for 3 years. More like 2 years

 

Just tried BST. Little to no improvement. The hydra exploded in 7 shots in both situations.

Maybe it would work better if someone was in the jet?

Odd, I seem to remember the game coming out in 2013, and spending most of my early days getting attacked by people who could snag a Lazer or a buy a tank.

The problem isn't really the armour on jets though - they're already not that strong.

 

The problem is that stupid cannon. It should be swapped with a Valkyrie's main cannon (which would still be devastating), or a Technical's MG.

It doesn't need the frags to begin with, it shouldn't be a ground attack vehicle, these jets are air superiority fighters. They should have standard guns that do high damage so dogfighting works the same, but no explosive rounds so that it actually almost takes skill to get kills.

In the early days of gta online, seeing a guy that could get lots of kills in a jet was like seeing a unicorn. Tanks were the menace everyone hated back then, not jets

What public lobbies are you in where you have the votes to kick people anytime you want..? If I'm in a session with 25 players and one jet griefer, and only 1-2 other players are friends of mine, we're never going to rally enough people to actually kick the asshole out. Might as well just kick yourself rather than waste time messaging people.
