Is Criminal Damage dead?

Ever since CEO work started, I've only seen Criminal Damage come up a few times. I haven't seen it at all in the past week or so. It used to pop up 3-5 times a day

 

I can understand removing it because it's an invitation to troll and blow up crates, but...oh wait. That's exactly what R* rewards already.

 

Kinda sucks if they removed it. Easiest $30k in the game

Pretty sure I've played it since the update, but rarely. Then again I'm in less populated lobbies by choice so I don't see Freemode events as much.

 

I hope not, anyway. Criminal Damage is my favourite challenge by far. Great for letting off some steam

Played it the other day. You're probably not seeing it because only one freemode event can happen at a time. VIP stuff is included in that. There's probably a combo of a lot of people doing their own activities and the fact that the regular FM stuff is a random rotation.

Regular free mode events and VIP work can co exist, but the free mode event is hidden for those already in VIP work. They adjusted the timer between free mode events from 12 to 40 minutes from what I've heard, so any event comes up a lot less often.

It hasn't seemed to stop "perform the most driveby kills on other players" from popping up, which always ends in a lobby-wide tie of 0-0

Yep, the FM Events have been put on a 40 min timer. The only thing I loved more than killing other players is now pretty much dead.
