Most things on this game make you money but if you really want to grind you can do VIP work solo and when you're with friends the pacific standard job is great for money. If you and your friends are skilled enough you could try the criminal mastermind challenge which gets you 10 mil plus other bonuses and the heist money itself, there's plenty of tutorials and tips on youtube and the forums.

 

After you do that you're looking at around 15 mil if you get the other bonuses and it can take a skilled team around 6 hours to do all five heists without dying if you know what you're doing. But the slow and easier way is still VIP work.

Just start with the cheapest office, which provides unlimited VIP work and free snacks, buy a single small or medium warehouse, and you should be set. I do VIP work primarily, with cargo fetching occasionally mixed in. A Buzzard is quintessential to the VIP lifestyle, if you don't have one already. Alternatively, you could save your money on the warehouse and do contact missions instead of collecting cargo, which is still profitable without investment. Lastly, as always, Pacific Standard still rolls in the dough.
