Quick tip for the solo CEO grinders

My next best guess would be try a cargobob + boat, but at some point this stops being faster :D

Yes. Suicide isn't the solution. Ingame and in real life. But, are the movable ? If that's the case we can shove them in a vehicle

I'm wondering if a firetruck could hose them in?

A dozer could probably scoop them up, but that's just too slow.

Ty ican, then IMO the crates are most likely scripted to spawn on the ground so the chance of suicide being the solution are slim unless if maybe you had a bunch of vehicles all stuck together, I still think the crate would spawn on the ground though.

If crates are just like inventory items that can be picked up by vehicles there's a slight chance R* scripted them to be a one per vehicle instead of one per player. Maybe try picking up a crate then getting in a Cargobob and dropping an empty vehicle on another crate, once you pick up the vehicle on the crate see if the crate comes with it.

It's a long shot but I just thought of it but I can't test it faster than I can type it out for you to try, got a baby sleeping on my chest :)

Edit: heck, try doing it with an npc in the vehicle and just lower the Cargobob over the crate. If the npc doesn't jump out maybe they can carry the damn crate ;)

Can you pick all three crates with three organisation members in one vehicle?

Hi there,

I would like to share a quick tip that I'm using myself while grinding CEO work. If you try and steal a few cars in a row and get a bounty (a nice one ofcourse) you can make an additional 6000-9000 every 48 minutes. Only recommended when you're in a lagged out session on your own. It might be not that useful, but I like it covering my pegasus and ammo expenses.

If I am on the ground, it is only because the crates are in a van and I am driving the van back to the warehouse. Otherwise there is literally no reason to get out of my buzzard, much less waste time stealing cars. You can do a headhunter in a buzzard in less than 3 minutes once you get it down. that's 20k, can be repeated every 5 minutes or so, basically after every 2nd pickup/purchase. Why bother fishing for a bounty?

If you mean by just driving over them all, then no. The other members will have to get out the vehicle to pick up their crate. You can however drive back together.

I'll try this when I next get one.

Have you tried ewo on a trailer? Not fast though.

I'll try when I can, but there aren't that many trailers about.

Might also be worth seeing they respawn by the side if you do it in/on a destroyed vehicle too.

I guess I'm not as skilled with my buzzard as you are. Because I exit mine a lot more often. If you're in the buzzard all the time my advice isn't helpful indeed.

So I tried picking up an NPC in their car, making them take it, and it didn't work. Neither did dunking an empty car at the crate, or getting on a destroyed car and suicide'ing.

Some other way of moving the crate is the best hope I think.

I had a crate on a roof a minute ago, I tried parking an insugent below it and pushing the crate on top. The crate went right through the the vehicle :/

By the time I set it all up I didn't even have time to deliver the crates, that was my first failed pick up ...and it involved failing to pickup the crates with a pickup, pretty ironic eh? :)

I always keep a Buzzard at the warehouse, for multiple pickups. Also pretty cool for fishing crates off the sea. And there's really no point in purchasing single crates. I mean, do the math. Three at a time for the win. Less cooldowns, no time to waste.

Haha, quit ironic indeed. May I ask you how you managed to push the crate? I did not succeed in finding a way to do it...

If you're playing solo then buying two crates and destroying the second one if its not a vehicle fetch is actually pretty close to optimum strategy, provided you sell a large warehouse around the 70 crate mark (crate value does not increase linearly).

3 crates at a time is the best profit per hour BUT it can be very frustrating when you get 2 or 3 very tough pick ups consecutively...

ewww... why would I ever do that? I make the first pickup by car and also clear the field if necessary. Every other round trip takes 2 minutes tops with a Buzzard. And after that, I drive back to the office and occupy myself with random stuff for like 2 minutes and a half, because of that annoying cooldown.

Not sure what I'm stumbled upon here but could be that if you maximize your minimap before taking off with the Titan, the height indicator bugs out and you can fly as high as you want without attracting cops. Can someone please check that out by chance? Happened twice now. Lol.

Very nice, will have to try that out. Good job.

I still haven't had a Titan delivery though, just Cuban 800s, Brickades, and of course Tugs.

Because it pays better than delivering both crates. You buy 6 crates at $4K each and on average 1 of them gets destroyed (roughly a third of missions are multiple crates). So you've got 5 for $24K, or just under $5K a pop - vs $6k if you buy 3 crates- and the most important part, every single mission is done in one run. If the 2 crates are more or less right next to your warehouse then of course, deliver. But generally destroy = faster revenue.

Combined with the sweet spot for cargo sales (ie when the per-crate sale value starts decreasing) and you're at optimum - for a solo player.

I've run the numbers, you're welcome to.

Well... i dont want to install any suspicious software on my PC.So i'm playing in public sessions with other players.But i'm using ghosting organisation glitch.So selling big cargo is not risky anymore.

I'm sure you worry about losing crates with over $300millon :D

I've run the numbers, you're welcome to.

To be honest, I've a really hard time to decipher your math and I thought I just let it go. But well, it kept me thinking and I made my own little calculation based on a mid-sized warehouse.

So lets assume the chance for individual crates lies at 50%. I hope we can agree on that. 42 crates sell for $735,000. I think the cooldown is about 3 minutes long. From my own experience, I assume that a pickup by transporter takes about 6 minutes. And I will be very generous here and say, a three crates pickup takes at average 10 minutes. Plus, lets not forget that a solo crate pickup probably only takes 4 minutes. However, here we go:

The 3 Crates Method:

7 pickups by transporter in 42 minutes.

7 pickups of crates in 70 minutes.

14 pickups total.

13 cooldowns, 39 minutes.

Investment = $252,000

Profit = $483,000 in 151 minutes.

The 2 Crates (Destroy Secondary) Method:

14 pickups by transporter in 84 minutes.

14 pickups of crates in 56 minutes.

28 pickups total.

27 cooldowns, 81 minutes.

Investment = $224,000

Profit = $511,000 in 221 minutes.

Profit per hour:

3 Crates Method = $191,921

2 Crates (and Destroy) Method = $138,733

Ya, you're welcome too.

Snark aside,

(a) crates vs vans is more like ⅓ and ⅔ as I posted. You can't just change that without evidence. That's a massive change.

(b) your figures are further distorted by your cooldown calculations. I'm pricing in Headhunter and/or HTakeover as well as having multiple warehouses.

c) There's further optimisation in filling and selling at 70ish crates, again like I already said. Crate value increase is not linear.

mmm chocolate

yeah why the hell is anyone mentioning cooldown timers?

2 warehouses at a time people! no cooldown!

(for the record I think destroying one of the crates is a bad idea)

in my experience so far:

buy two at a time : delivering two is way less tedious than taking forever to do three.

always sell the most possible at a time : most profit

selling runs :

try to plan it so your selling runs are during the day and not foggy conditions. (in your game dummy!) helps alot.

full armor, health and ammo, check that no one got into your lobby just before you start.

bonus tip: once you get your own public lobby, and you need a break, rubber band your controller (inside your office or somewhere else inside) and make sure your controller is plugged in. I've gone out and looked at new apartments for rent for hours at a time and come back and I still have my own lobby.

I've got slightly heftier economic situations on the mind but at some point I'll show my workings.

Essentially if you never want to go back and forth for crates and you play without associates, especially in a lobby with other players, 2 and destroy is gonna be the best compromise position and is not much different from 3 and deliver in terms of reward. Don't underestimate the value of playing more CEO works during cool down.

also, if we were trying to be smart about this whole process, we would be organizing meet ups with other like-minded CEOs and creating 'selling lobbies' to get the multiplier bonus for having an active session of more than one person.

(the only problem would be having to kick each new random un-invited player so they don't mess with things)

if anyone on xbox one wants to try this, msg me. gt same as here.

Whatever... my formula works better for the way how I use to grind, no matter what variables. It doesn't really matter in what way you shift the values. And I know that profits aren't linear. I kept it simple is all. Even, I actually make more profit as my prior example suggests. But, I didn't know you can dodge cooldowns with multiple warehouses. That's pretty good to know, thanks! And I wish I would ever find other CEOs being more cooperative or at least communicative. Maybe it's a PC thing, idk. I would never participate in session kicks though. That's abusive. I play with keyboard and mouse btw, so no rubber banding there, but watching TV works just as good. Last time I dreamed some really weird sh*t while having a nap with GTA-TV on speakers.
