Quick tip for the solo CEO grinders

Hi there,

I would like to share a quick tip that I'm using myself while grinding CEO work. If you try and steal a few cars in a row and get a bounty (a nice one ofcourse) you can make an additional 6000-9000 every 48 minutes. Only recommended when you're in a lagged out session on your own. It might be not that useful, but I like it covering my pegasus and ammo expenses.

Not bad, not bad! Good thinking.

The real holy grail for solo CEOs though, would be some way of separating the "collect crates" missions from the "collect a vehicle" missions. The vehicle ones can be taken in one go, so you don't have to do that tiresome back and forth journey.

I do think that the so called holy grail is firmly thought of by R*. I do not think it's possible on legal matters. Because you pay on forehand.

Meh, not much difference. Also, bounties aren't from $6-9k. It's $1-9k with the majority of the time only getting $1-4k.

I know, but in my experience I do often get tagged for 6k+ by npc's

A tip from my side: You can also use the program "NetLimiter" to force GTA to lag you out of the session. Then you will be alone in a public session. Just make sure that you remove the mark on "Limiter on" when you've lagged out, otherwise you might get issues connecting to the cloud server while GTA is trying to load or save something. I always do this when I'm doing my CEO stuff. I always have the program running in the background because once you've lagged out and remove the limiter, the lobby gets slowly filled with players again, and once a player is approaching me, I set the limiter on again so that he or she won't/can't interfere with my buisness. :)

As you can see, I limit the GTA process by 5kb/s.

Right? God bless the thieves and helicopters, they make my life so much easier.

I guess a simple solution would be for R* to let us use the Cargobob for the damn cargo vehicles, but that'd be too simple for them to do, now wouldn't it? Lol

And yes OP, It's a clever extra measure to take to make a nice bit more capital.

After the first few times of me stealing a car to drive to LSIA to spawn a Buzzard (don't own one yet) I'd get the bounty notification and would be like "Yeah yeah, you want me dead for money, I get it. f*ck off", but then it finally sunk it that bounties mean nothing solo and it was just making me eventual money.

I frequently get $9k placed on me all the time and it's annoying but good at the same time since its fun for me to get chased by players cashing in on the bounty.

Well... i dont want to install any suspicious software on my PC.So i'm playing in public sessions with other players. But i'm using ghosting organisation glitch. So selling big cargo is not risky anymore.

I use Bandwithplace.com to lag myself out, usually it takes 3 times of pressing the button to start the test and I'm alone in the session. I really like that way because I don't need to do any other thing then navigate to that website.

I don't think they'll do anything lol, so I guess we have to think of some way to move more than one crate at a time.

All I can think of at the moment is somehow getting a dozer and scooping up a crate (while carrying another one yourself) - that could let you move 2 at a time. But that's so slow, it wouldn't be worth it.

Maybe getting some kind of vehicle that you could somehow push the crates onto, then Cargobob'ing that vehicle? I don't know. All I know is that a way of grabbing all 3 crates would make this a lot less tedious.

I've used YouTube on my iPad and when I set the video quality to HD,it then suddenly lags the whole session out and this has happened to me a million times.

Yeah, until there's some way to move 3 at once, I'll stick to buying 1 crate at a time. On the plus side, it's much more cost effective and poses less risk, but my god is it slow as hell filling up those warehouses. If we crack the 3 at once thing, the speed may just offset the price.

I've been toying with the idea of trying to get 3 in the back of a Mule somehow. Would be slow, but might be worth it.

I'd need to find a way to push them in the back though.

About that 3 crate thing. What if you climb into the bed of your truck while carrying cargo and taking the easy way out. Than you drop it in the truckbed. I'n going to try now and keep you guys posted

I'll usually cycle between Headhunter and delivering three crates. By the time I deliver the cargo, the cool down is up. That way I'm gaining back what I spend on cargo.

I f*cking knew there was a GO glitch, I got f*cked over by an org and that was the only way I thought it could be possible. I checked the other place but didn't see one.

So, thanks.

Also, f*ck you.

I'd suspect your only chance would be to use a pickup truck, stand in the bed and kill yourself (package drops when you die). If you can get 2 in the back of a pickup and carry the other 1 that may save some time.

Personally I just blow them up myself if they're too far out of the way and try my luck for a quicker one. My only goal with packages now is to achieve maximum clutter in the office. I find the VIP work/challenges far more entertaining than shagging crates, and Pac Standard is still the ultimate money maker by a long margin.

***Edit*** hivemind here.

Someone report back.

I just tried ...

When I killed myself in or on a vehicle, the crate just respawned by the side.

FhrNpcV.jpg

We need a way to push them in there somehow, or some kind of box-like object that could be lifted by a Cargobob.

Try a Guardian.

Then try a Dump :D

Now we know why they patched being able to walk into portapotties...

And opening the Titan/Cargobob hatches.

There has to be a way of doing this. They eventually put a timer on the mission I was playing around with too, so there's obviously something they don't want us to find out. Just got to figure it out.

We'We're going to crack it. For sure. Trying suicide in a droptop right now. What if we can do suicide on a roof and then shove it on top of a dump or something like that?

sorry for my ignorance but I'm just catching up to this new practice, what happens if you have a crate and suicide while standing on the back of any pickup truck?

Does the crate go through the truck or spawn next to it or something?

Ok, so it seems like when you suicide on top of a vehicle, the crate always reappears to the side. I tried with that Mule, a random car, and on top of a Pegasus Cargobob.

I don't know about non-vehicle objects that can move/be picked up by a Cargobob though. So we need a box-like object (that isn't a vehicle) and can be moved by a Cargobob.

Or some way of moving the crates without picking them up. If we can shove a crate in/on a vehicle somehow, it might stay there. It's just the suicide'ing that seems to put it by the side.
