Google ads are super cheap too. You only pay them when someone clicks on the ad.

I paid 4 bucks for my modded account. The modder sells them on ebay for 3.5 pounds. Just create a new PSN account and give them the details, and check the reviews first. Ebay is usually safe, there are also modders on a very famous 7orum but their services are very expensive (usually over 20 bucks for everything unlocked and they will only give you 100 mil, which in the long term will not be enough). I can understand those who spend hours and hours farming RP and money - I used to be one of those guys, my main account is a legit level 620, and I have a legit second account around level 180. I just can't stand the grind any longer, can't stand farming the pac stan glitch for hours and hours to be able to afford the new DLCs. Now everytime a new DLC drops I just buy everything I want without caring about the money spent. I don't work for Rockstar and I truly believe it's both pathetic and unhealthy to repeat the same missions/heists over and over again just to be able to buy some piece of virtual junk - just think about the time lost and how it could be spent doing something more productive, entertaining and engaging. Those who believe there is honour in video games are usually trapped in a fetichized system of RP/virtual currency/competitive stats, etc. Some of these individuals are usually sucked into the black hole of highly addictive mmorpg's suck as LOL and WoW. Believe me, there is life beyond videogames, as well as simple and inexpensive solutions to Rockstar's elitist logic.

They advertise all over many popular forums, and as much as many might be scams , it appears that many are legit, hence the increase in modded accounts on xb and ps4 recently. Its sh*te, but then its bound to happen and become popular when Rockstar use the stealth (not to subtle any more) pay to play model they are using. Higher and higher prices with limited (FUN) ways to make that kind of cash in game to buy access to the latest game modes and gear!.

£30 for a 3.5 Million Cash card that will just about buy you access to the latest CEO game mode!

or £20 for everything unlocked and billions of gta$!??

They did it to themselves and the game suffers

I agree there is a life beyond videogames.

Which is why I spent only the amount of money required to get the game. I didn't buy cash cards, or buy a modded account.

Ya'll spending too much money on exactly one game.

^ Illegal means against the law.

You're breaking ToS, EULA, whatever, who gives a f*ck. That's not illegal. It's not the same as contract killing.

If it's against YT's ToS then report the ad. In any event if you give payment details to sketchy account sellers then caveat emptor.

Wait a minute, you guys are telling me that my ads for contract killers violate the youtube ToS? Thanks, I'm gonna stop before my channel gets banned :p

Why does this not surprise me? Rockstar should just pull the plug on this game already.

What kind of bullsh*t is this? Dammit I would prefer to see Trevor's voice actor (Steven Ogg) doing the old spice commercial rather than this sh*t. At least that ad is entertaining.

It's not illegal *shrugs*

This is entirely rockstar's responsibility, and failure.

The service is illegal based on the game's terms of agreement, and now there's official ads for that.

It's like someone advertising contract killing, drug dealing or forgery of documents, for exemple.

Whoa there, buddy, calm your tits. Someone who sells modded accounts, whether a legitimate sale or a scam one is nowhere near the kind of crimes of murder, drug dealing, and forgery of documents. What those people do is mod accounts, and therefore a breach of the terms of service. Not committing a felony.

Well, install adblock and your problem is solved..

or uBlock origin better

You guys don't understand me. This problem isn't about me, it's about people who are dumb enough to try these things out. And not all of those "dumb people" have adblock installed.

I do have adblock plus on my PC at home, but I would still see this ad on a couple of channels, since I've white list a couple of channels.

Well, those dumb people are...Dumb since they can get a modded without paying a dime for it.

Sure, they are financing this sh*t and incentiving the hackers to keep on creating new mod menus but oh well, there's nothing to do there.

Maybe reporting the ad to R* as it's against the ToA and they are generating revenue from it.

I'm sure they won't care two sh*ts about it.

Im Ricky I Win

Adblock has been my friend for many years.

Unless I like the channel then I'll disable so they get revenue.

I actually forgot YouTube even had ads, that's how long I had adblock on.

Interesting to see how desperate the scammers are getting though.

I remember being on X360 last year and a fellow was "selling" modded money to players online.

I don't normally report people, but this guy was hardcore, really pressing younger kids to email him and if they could get their parents credit card, he'd sell them $500 million for just $20 dollars!

I pretended to be interested, just to get his email address, which I did, then reported him to Banhammer.

Never heard anything about it after, but as an adult with kids of my own, I was livid that some toolshed would try to solicit to children via a video game that way.

But hey, gotta make a buck, right? <sigh>

Man, you made me remember something from back on the 3.

Some dude just got in the lobby, like really just got in, and his first words were "Hello? Hi, I'm sellig modded accounts like this one I'm using, starting at 10$"

Then he proceeds to go about it like a door-to-door salesman.

Goddamn telemarketers, and now this.

Is there something wrong with warning people? Doing something good to people may not be a thing in your country, but we Dutch people like to help other people.

If you find this whole thread "stupid" then don't post. I don't force you to post in this topic.

I like to help people too, but this is pretty clear to be a scam, and if people wants to fall for it, you can't do much about it, so, it's OK to warn people, but you seem to be taking this too seriously

In all honesty anything modded over 100m attracts the attention of R*. We could get away with it long ago, but now it is damn near impossible. Billions in cash is a very high risk mod, and to purchase it you are basically giving the modder money to give you a banned account. The only real need for modded accounts now is simply for modded cars and outfits, becsuse there isn't much else you can do without getting banned within a week of transferring.
