With all the glitched/modded money and workarounds, no griefer worries about the insurance cost. There are even methods to destroy a car and have the owner pay the insurance. In my opinion, insurance must be removed completely because it only affects legit players who accidentally destroy their own car.

There is no work-around for jet or tank bitches who destroy your PV. They will pay the insurance premium.

Insurance has always been stupid..No one should have to pay anything for other peoples pvs. I bank the bulk of my money on my ALT character anyways so i could give a f*ck less what R* insurance cap is.

 

Just one of my street bikes to me are worth more then 100 Insurgents or Protos combined. Yet if someone blows up one of my bikes they only pay about $500. So to me Insurance is a f*ckin a joke.

 

Seriously.. the only people who like insurance are mostly trolls that use insurance against players. People who are to much of a pussy to engage in real pvp for some reason, so they just bait and attack players to blow them up and then laugh when they pay insurance. But the jokes usually on them because i rarely have more then 20k on my at one time anyways...lmao

It's a good idea for people who purposefully or accidentally wreck cars, because at most it's 20k and that's just one setup mission.

Well, that's just rude. If it's you and a few other guys, message the CEO and let him know you're friendly. Because most likely, himself and his associates are In a party together, debating on kicking you.

 

Just let them know ahead of time. And if they still come after you, then it's not in your favor, because 3 vs 1, never works when it comes to using the kick feature. But if you're on PS4, I can cover sniper fire and help you.

Well, that's just rude. If it's you and a few other guys, message the CEO and let him know you're friendly. Because most likely, himself and his associates are In a party together, debating on kicking you.

Have you completed all stunt jumps? I'll wager they cost me close to half a million all said and done. Agreed that the professional trolls are either broke or have cheated money anyway so if 20K isn't a deterrent 28K isn't going to be the deal breaker to change their behavior.

im indifferent to insurances, being months since i last paid someones insurance as there are ways to bypass that haha

keeping the money in cash at the other character or destroying cars only when there's vip work or an event going on.

while keeping your money on the second character keep you from paying insurance, you can go down into badsport.

 

vip missions is the way to go, specially hostile takeover, which give you 30mins of insurance/badsport exemption while trolling the entire lobby by giving them a perma-wanted level for the duration of the event.

Uh, why does your car blow up if you're doing stunt jumps? I don't get it. My car doesn't blow up that easily...

The stunt jump to the lighthouse is notorious for wrecking vehicles. I probably trashed 20 or so to get that jump. I chose to do that on a Ruffian or Bati, though, so I wasn't out much in insurance.

The jump into the prison also has a good chance of impound, which can mean insurance if you don't want to head back to LS after a failed attempt.

Its the worst sh*t idea, one of the funniest moments i had online was parking 3 t20 near a titan and waiting a griefers come with their hydra, so called the 100k strafe

I think it's awesome, it now means that when menus come back, script kiddies can't attach insurance to a gold jet and cost someone 97k every 2 seconds.

I believe they've manually added insurance prices to all vehicles and made the max 20k instead of having insurance being based off of a percentage of the stock vehicles price (1.25%).

It doesn't change anything. It doesn't matter whether a cheater makes you pay 20k or 100k every few seconds, you still get put into bad sport in seconds and you still lose a lot of cash. But i am very certain that if this cheat returns, insurance will be disabled again within a day.

I think they should just remove insurance in missions. Cars in heists don't have insurance, so why not missions, right?

I don't see it working well. I mean the car itself, stock, is worth 2.7 million.

I wish people felt regret blowing up my X80. But now they get a 20k bill and that's it.

Although I don't own one, I Feel the same way. The 20K cap is a tad too low in a game with trigger-happy population. R* should've instead decreased the insurance multiplier to 0.0115x across the board and capped it at 30K.

Destroying a T20 would cost you 27,500 bucks before this senseless 20k limit.

7,500 difference is not negligible.

 

And the new Grotti should have had an even higher insurance premium.
