OG7MAS
So I bought a new pc to play my GTA V cd, I managed to install it successfully but after I started it I got lots of what people call stuttering while speeding in a car. My pc is Medium-high end so I don't really get why it stutters. Once I get out of the car it is flawless. only while driving It stutters. any solutions??? I really want to play the missions one time it was so bad it took me 1 real hour to go 2 miles in the game. My PC specs: Windows 8.1 pro 64-bit 4GB RAM Intel i3 1.70 GHz Intel Hd Graphics with 1920mb gpu ram. Is it because my processor is weak? My pc is barely a month old. Oh and I almost forgot the first few like 1-2 minutes after starting the game it is very good. I tried adjusting the settings.xml file to make it look ike the gta 3 graphics, even after that it is stuttering a lot.

Can you specify what I3 model exactly you have also what settings you have on GTA V. Edited June 21, 2016 by Sweet Bellic Alihunter
mahanddeem
Unfortunately all your important components are barely able to run this game, your cpu, memory and graphic. What you can do is run game at lowest settings and start upping few, one by one and see what you can get. Otherwise you need a better cpu, more (and probably faster) ram and better gpu for running this game flawlessly. Sweet Bellic
Uncle Sikee Atric
You have throttling issues as well regarding temperatures.... Make sure you keep it as cool as possible and don't expect miracles. I assume your locale is India, so ambient temps will be high, doubly so if you are running a laptop. Even clearing out dust, blocked airways and running the comp next to a desktop fan will help lower the temps in the case. Sweet Bellic
OG7MAS
Dude i already tried that. Im not dumb @mahanddeem. And also i dont live in india. Spider-Vice
4GB RAM is too little for GTA V (along with the fact you have an integrated graphics chip and that steals RAM). It's probably paging into the hard drive, thus putting extra pressure on it (it already needs to be fast enough to stream the map). The i3 also doesn't help as V is CPU intensive. Dock
Try this: alt-tab out and go back in game (fullscreen of course). I know your specs are pretty weak but IIRC a lot of stutters were fixed by simply alt-tabbing out the game and back in. Try this.
raburs
That thing will barely run it. All you can do is try.
LiniArc
I had a laptop with 8GB ram, i3, GT720m and it ran the game nicely for me. My brother right now has i5, 4GB ram and GT920m. But it still lags. My performance was better than his even with i3. So, I guess 8GB is must for satisfactory performance. Also, Nvidia or AMD would help as they are a lot better than Intel HD. Even the normal GT series. So I would suggest to upgrade your ram. Its just around 3000Rs. for 4GB ram. It does a lot of improvement.
OG7MAS
Ok t tell you the truth this pc is not exactly mine it is my DAD's OFFICE pc. So it will be very hard to upgrade it cause he doesn't let me. Plz suggest something other than upgrading my RAM im ready to anything else. And P.S. my i3 model is i3-4005u. Plus don't know if this is gonna help or not, but my pc is Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series. I'm just freakin desperate to play without stutters. I told you. when I get out of the car, it is totally lagless. it runs around 40-50 fps out of the car.
raburs
You should consider upgrading your RAM. I know it will be difficult for you, but that's the least you can do right now. You cannot play this game smoothly without upgrading your PC. Edited June 25, 2016 by raburs Sweet Bellic

Spider-Vice
Sorry, there isn't much of a solution to your problem. The game requires more than what you have. OG7MAS
ill see if I can upgrade my RAM and get back. the thing is my cousin has almost the same specs as mine, and he runs gta v on his pc no problem. Is it a patch probem? Cause I don't have wifi. I use datacard for now. i don't have the latest patches installed so is that but i did find out something. i set my gta v on task manager from high t realtime and ended the realtek audio manager and the audio was pretty damn glitch, ut it did improve my stutters. Not COMPLETELY, but at least it is playable. Edited June 28, 2016 by OG7MAS
