Prototypo now available for purchase

Sup,

 

New car is out. It's not big news, some of you might know already, it's on the newswire aswell, but just dropped in to tell you the new car is out.

 

Checked the website and saw the Prototypo is now available on Legendary Motorsports for about 3 Million, I didn't buy because I don't like it, but figured you guys might wanna know. Spawned it in SP couple about a week ago and it seems to be very fast aswell. Hope you have fun with it.

 

 

To those who had a bad day or your life sucks, and feel like jumping at my throat for posting something here, knock yourself out, it's not like I'm not used to it.

No. Not much faster than the T20. Like, 0.6 seconds faster than T20.

Not exactly, a T20 and Osiris as well as a FMJ and Zentorno can keep up, but the Entity and Turismo R are left behind.

 

It didn't kill the class, but it limited its variety.

I really want it, and I have the money, but... It really hurts me to throw 2.7 million this way. I'll wait for some sale, sooner or later one will come up and until there, I can finally drive around my T20 without being the car everyone else's driving. :')

 

P.S.: For those who got it, does it really worth it? Is the handling/speed something really worth that price?

Not especially IMO. And I love Italian beasts. It sounds like a Honda, the speed is nothing special and the back end likes to jump into the air.

But then imo, paying the extra 500k for a slight performance boost and the design.

 

I will buy it but on a sale as well. I'm in no rush unless they made it a limited time vehicle.

Didn't think so either watching Joonas almost spin out on every corner going up, down and around the hills. T20 is small though, compared to this.

By "different" does it mean better or worse? One thing I appreciate on the T20 is how good it handles (and for example the new Pegassi has awful handling, on opposition) and it's an important criteria considering the speed of this one.

 

Still, it would be great if the Proto actually had a truth "supercar" speed...

If I had more garage space I would happily fork out the 2.7 million for this car, but not at a loss again, and again, and again. It's such an old tactic, and I could only justify it if I was really in love with this car.

Still...if you never truely loved the t 20 yet...you have one and you are a good driver i woud buy this car i think.

Slightly uncompetitive has much to be said. It might be very slightly faster on drag racing, but besides Route 68 race, that won't be much of an advantage. City circuits involve much more acceleration and handling than straight line max speed, and that's why if you have an Entity and you know what you're doing, you can smoke all the T20 and Osiris guys.

 

I understand your point - it is clearly overpriced and a lot of people just go for the stats because "every slight speed advantage can be helpful", but I don't really think you need to buy this one to be able to keep up in supercar races (unless everybody is disvaluing the Proto and it's actually way faster, but I don't think so).

 

But yeah, a big portion of the community was really demanding for new supercars and R* gave a nice pile of them some will really feel the need to got'em all, thus leading to huge spending and ultimately more shark card sales... But well, after all, that's what some asked for, right?

 

Finally, personally I really want this new one, tbh supercars are not my favorite racing class but it's mainly for the looks because it's quite an unique car we haven't had anything like before, but I won't pay full price for it, I really don't think it worths it. I waited a long time for the best deal to get a T20 and it wasn't a game changing item for me, so I won't blindly buy this one either.

Its also potentialy the dominant car in races...

Though im not there yet at all(it feels like trying to master my dominator...you are completely f*cked if you step out or hit something and it aint easy to handle in both corners and kerbs.. but yea...

Overall..im gonna love spending time with this car...a lot.

 

Most fun car for anyone who likes a challenge...i mean...atleast for a car in the super class(all exept the infernus are realy or pretty easy to drive...this new car is not)

 

Edit: wait a month...by then there probably will be a discount i gues...based on how they did it in the past with every single dlc super car after the zentorno
