Game Crashes after Loading Save | PC

I run this game on PC, and unfortunately with an animation mod.

 

I have tried to get rid of the animation mod but seemingly still doesn't work. I'll remove the one I recently downloaded.

 

Anyway, a suspicious source is the fact that my gta3.img is corrupted, and even re-installling the game itself (through disk, not steam) does not work.

 

The only error I had was unfortunately just the "gtasa.exe has stopped working" quote, and even when I ask for details it would never come out with any.

 

A fix for gta3.img and the loading crashes will be appreciated.

Uninstall, completely.

Delete the Mod and another other Files that might be left over.

Reinstall the game from the disc. Make sure the disc does not have any scratches, scuffs, grease or cracks.

If you have Windows 8.0, 8.1 or 10 tough luck. Microsoft is trying to make old games obsolete.

You should install and Run with Administrative Permissions.

Try *compatibility mode*; XP, (if you have mouse issues, then try Win98).

Do Not use a "Crack" to avoid keeping the Disc in the machine.

IF you insist on using Mods, then first get the game working without them.

Then if modding is your aim, And you do not have a First Edition Disc, you will have to find a "downgrader".

"Downgrading" does not make your game a V1, but it allows for their use in modding on the V2 DVD, or V3 Down Load (STEAM registered) games

IF you have a newer STEAM registered game, it will Not run unless you have Internet Connection to STEAM each and every time you want to play. STEAM registered games Must Connect to STEAM to validate the game before playing.

I fixed it already, and before I fixed none of your things worked, I've tried them before.

The Save was made before or After Modding the Game ? If it happened after the Modding I suggest to "forget" about that Save and to start a new game ..
