Assuming you're a CEO and have access to the gun locker, what does your customized load out look like? Just curious to see if other people are as compulsive as I am...

 

Here's mine

 

Pistol - Heavy Pistol

SMG - Micro SMG

Rifle - Carbine Rifle

Sniper Rifle - Marksman Rifle

Shotgun - Double Barrel

Heavy Weapons - RPG and Homing Launcher (necessary for missions and CEO work)

Explosives - All the explosives

Melee - Switchblade (and the ones they force you carry)

 

I have found that by only having one or two of each weapon in a category I save loads on ammo and have gotten much better at PVP by having to close the distance on targets and think ahead of them.

 

Sorry if I step on somebody's troll toes! (not)

Um, on topic, I suppose it's easier to count what I don't have, rather than what I kept.

 

I kept nearly all of them, just threw away the standard sniper and SNS pistol, along with a few others.

Having a hard time figuring out if your heavy weapons slot is filled with RPGs or sex toys -___-

it depends...if im in a heisting moment i generaly walk around with the heavy shotgun and regular sniper....if not, those and some other guns are removed

 

further always available

 

pistols: AP-pistol, heavy revolver, .50 pistol

 

smg/mg's: combat mg, combat pdw

 

assault rifles: special carbine, compact rifle

 

snipers: marksman rifle, heavy sniper

 

melee: knife, knuckle duster, nightstick, machette

 

shotguns: assault shotgun, double barrel shotgun

 

special weapons: everything but the firework laucher(and of course railgun)

 

trow weapons: sticky bombs, grenades, tear gass grenades, proximity mines,

pistols - Pistol, Heavy Revolver, AP Pistol, Flare Gun

 

SMG - Combat MG and Gusenberg Sweeper

Melee-Fists, Knife, Baseball Bat, Hammer, Hatchet, Machete, Switchblade, Knuckleduster, Crowbar (only second character)

Handguns-Pistol, Combat Pistol, Heavy Pistol, AP Pistol, Heavy Revolver, Flare Gun, Pistol 50 (only second character)

SMGs/MGs-Micro SMG, Machine Pistol, SMG, Gussenberg, Combat MG

Shotguns-Shotgun (only second character), Sawed Off Shotgun, Double Barrel Shotgun, Assault Shotgun, Musket (only first character), Heavy Shotgun (only second character)

Assault rifles-Assault Rifle (only second character), Special Carbine, Compact Rifle

Sniper rifles-Sniper Rifle (only first character), Heavy Sniper, Marksman Rifle

Heavy weapons-RPG, Homing Launcher, Firework Launcher, Grenade Launcher, Minigun

I never bought an office (since I don't play in public),so I can't get rid of stuff like Firework Launcher, Musket or Lamar's gun.

My philosophy is to restrict it to only what I need/use, and especially to minimize the number of weapons usable while driving in order to switch quickly, thats the main reason I don't carry HE or smoke grenades.

I like to carry all my guns around but when I do use the custom weapon loadout I got:

 

- melee: deez nuts

 

- pistols: heavy, heavy revolver, AP pistol

 

- MGs: micro SMG, combat PDW and assault

 

- Rifles: all rifles

 

- Snipers: all snipers

 

- Shotguns: all shotguns minus the musket

 

- Heavy: all heavies except for the railgun and firework launcher

 

- Thrown: only sticky bombs

How do those nuts fair for you in street fights? I'd imagine you have some armored underroos hopefully :barf:

 

On a side note I'm still waiting for the guy to come in here and be like, "what weapon wheel, you mean my musket"???

Quick question regarding the weapon loadouts.

 

If you enable your custom weapon loadout does that mean that you can't (randomly) pick up weapons from dead enemies?

 

At first glance it sounds like a bit of a daft question, since one of the primary functions of the weapon locker is to reduce weapon wheel clutter. However this is especially important to me since I get my ammo from survivals (yes, I'm that cheap :lol:) and you guys know how incompetant R* can be at times. This exact feature should've been in the game since launch, yet here we are celebrating its arrival nearly 3 years later.

No, you still pick them up same as it ever was.
