thisdjjdasiaa
hey i have a question for you if you know... i have an infinite amount of "regular"/cop pistols so if i start vertical bird +pick up the silenced pistol, will i have an infinite silenced pistol or just a couple of rounds? also i noticed when you switch from molotov's/grenades to rocket-launchers the amount will always be reset? this is true no? Lethal Vaccine
When you pick up a new Weapon, but it uses the same Slot as another Weapon, the Ammo will still be high. Like if you have a Tec 9 with 1,050 Bullets and pick an SMG up, you'll have whatever Bullets the pickup gave you, plus the 1,050 Bullets from the Tec 9. It won't go back to a low amount... Â Not sure about Molotovs, Grenades, etc, etc. However, if you pick up RPG and then the Heat Seeking RPG, it'll continue to add up... OrionSR
Shotguns, machine guns, assault rifles, and rocket launchers all share the same ammo type so ammo will accumulate. All other weapons have unique ammo types so changing weapons resets the ammo count. Â Check out the pinned weapons guide in this sub-forum. I'm likely to be forgetting certain details. toomuchinvigilation
You can also gain ammo from the other kind of weapon of the same type, but only if it's not a fixed weapon spawn point. For example, if you are doing a gang war with M4, you can walk over AK-47 pickups from dead gangsters and gain ammo for your M4 without changing it to AK-47. thisdjjdasiaa

OrionSR
Wait a sec. The rocket launchers don't share ammo. I wasn't sure on this and just double-checked. Damn. I hate it when my misinformation gets quoted. Â And a tip on dropped weapons, especially gang wars and remote areas with large battles. When you leave dropped pickups (money, weapons, jetpacks) lying around and move on they go inactive and don't notice their timer has expired. These old pickups can clutter the pickup pool. It's a good idea to revisit areas of large battles and let the game take out the trash. Â And don't worry about silenced ammo. The skill builds quickly if you use what you find. You might be able to double your ammo by starting and quitting the Ammu-nation challenge. Â meh i was just hoping i won't be having to pick up the pistols from this point in my game, not really a prob... Â aha so either pick everything up on-spot or return and hang around the area for a min or two? not sure if i understood correctly...
lil weasel
It will go down. Silenced-Pistol and Regular 9mm Pistol use different ammo. Use the Ammu-Nation Exploit to bring levels up. There is NO Such Thing as Infinite Ammo Until After the game is finished with 100%. What you are thinking of as "infinite" ammo is MERELY an Ammo count exceeding the display capacity of 9,999 rounds. The Game does not display ammunition counts of 10,000 or more. When you have shot off the excess it will display the count again.
