How much rank do you regard as glitcher or cheater?

Over 500, but only because the amount of legit players with that level is way smaller than the portion of hacked accounts.

I do not treat them as hackers though - innocent unless proven otherwise/admits that they've been bad.

2013-2014 players are rank 500+ if they played regularly.

How much time do you regard as a waste of your own time worrying about other peoples rank and cheater/noncheater status?

 

It's actually the first thing I look at when I join a session. I find that 90% of the >250 levels I see are phony.

 

Checking trophies is typically a very quick way to see who is legit and most of the high levels I see are not. The legit high levels have done most EVERYTHING and their trophies date back a couple years. They generally also have a ton of trophies in other games because they're people who just play a lot of video games. The phonies have some absurd high level (almost always an even number + 1 or 2) and the only heist trophy they have is for spending over 8 million on vehicles.

 

Someone cheating their level says a lot about what to expect out of them and them picking an absurdly high level is even more telling as to the way they view the world. NOTHING good, fun, or productive ever comes from any interaction with these sorts.

 

I play with some legit very high level players and they absolutely LOVE the game and are fun to play with. I have one person on my friends list with a modded account (she was bright enough to chose a level just high enough to unlock everything and not look foolish or raise red flags).

I don't think people take into account that not everybody plays like they do.

 

If you take a player that's been playing since release, only plays Gta, plays anywhere from idk like 2-6 hours a day or more, doesn't do free roam, only does missions over and over. We on 2 & 1/2 years of online release.

 

 

I just did the quick math, 2 hours a day, for 30 months, use a 30k rp an hour average.

 

You looking at somewhere around 135 million Rp. Which would be nearing rank 1909.

 

 

There's folks that play the game a lot more than 2 hours, and considering how job payouts used to be, that is a low number for what that type of player could have.

IMO Anything above 2000 is modded.

 

If your looking for modded accounts on PS4, check the following;

1. Very high KD
2. Rank near a round number, most modded acounts are transfered across at 400, 500, 1000, etc. and the higher the rank the longer it takes to rank up, so usually the modded accounts are just a few ranks above these round numbers.
3. Only a few trophies on their PSN profile. Points to an account just for GTAO not their primary PS4 account where they play other games from (not always the case as some people used a glitch to merged a modded account with their primary account).
4. Modded outifts. There are certain outifts that are unobtainable on PS4 and must be modded on old gen and then transfered across

If they tick all those boxes, the chances are high its a modded acount, regardless of rank. So if you're getting grief from what you think is a modded account, check the above and send them a message that you're going to report them, 95% of the time they'll quit the lobby instantly and leave you in peace.

I watch what they do. I generally only see 1k+ players. I check what they're doing. If they aren't bothering people, I leave em alone. Glitches and mods don't make you a douche.

 

Now, if they're running around being an ass, I generally assume they've cheated and report them. I find it difficult to believe a high k/d freeroam warrior earned rank 1000

If I see someone over 1000, I'll check their K/D or for any invisible body parts. I don't report them on K/D unless it is a crazy ridiculous number like 20.00 but if I see he's doing that invisible sh*t I'll report it.

I can only imagine most of the people here would think nearly all my friends or cheaters..

 

I mean i have over a 100 friends on GTA.. All of them are above 600 and about 30 of them are above lvl 1000 and they are legit in rank. As they earned..

I can see alot of you guys losing your sh*t and reporting all of them... I always here people crying about their level... or outfits or something. People love to complain about things that don't matter... lol

even if you think someone has a modded acount, i do not get why you woud report them unless they are using invisible outfits or are grieving...

I'm level 571. 120 days of online time. I'm not a cheater or glitcher.

 

Over 1000, there is an extremely high likelihood the player is using a modded account.

 

 

 

Stats don't mean sh*t. No one needs anyone's seal of approval for how they got to whatever level they got you. It's a level in a game that is not real. Get over it. Don't like it play something else. Don't care? Enjoy the game who f*cking cares -_-

Anybody with any stat or level that was not earned legitimately is absolute scum and is a disgrace to legit video gamers.

 

The fact that entire sessions don't automatically band together to kick and report anybody over level 2000 is embarrassing to the community.

 

Any time a level 5000 or above enters a session I am in, if possible, I immediately kick, report, bounty, and mug that player. And I report him repeatedly every time I have the chance as long as I am in the same session.

I haven't really played much for the last 2 years and I was around 280-300 legit back then. I'm 360 now, and with ranking up made so much easier, it's easy to imagine someone at a legit 1500. There was a girl on this forum that got to 1000 (supernova_girlie?) and that was last year I think, I don't see her playing GTA Online on PSN anymore though.
