How much rank do you regard as glitcher or cheater?

It's easy to make an evaluation.

I'm rank 749 and play 3 hours a day on average, over the last 32 months since release. It's a massive commitment.

If someone, somehow, played 9 hours a day ON AVERAGE, they could possibly reach level 2000... so it's possible, but it's very rare to find anyone over 1000, and I'm the highest rank of nearly everyone I know.

 

About 1500 absolute max, I'd say.

in my book anything pass 2000 is bullsh*t, i know legit people into the 1000s so i know its possible, but anything pass 2000 is obviously a modded account.

 

on the other hand, i dont care about ranks as they dont give you any advantage, we are all equal once we get pass level 135.

I really couldn't care less same as money cheaters doesn't effect me in any way really & with level well after 135 i think ya don't unlock anything that gives an advantage & this game been out for long enough where most players are over level 100.

Rank 200 gives the final upgrade I believe, you heal faster then.

I played a Vehicle Deathmatch with a Rank 900+ and a KD of 0.69 and he was rubbish, no way someone who's been playing the game that long gets beat 1 v 1 lol.

 

Not every player spends time fighting other players. It's likely that person is a dedicated racer and doesn't bother "wasting time" fighting too much. I've got a ton of racing experience in the game (reached 1900 wins, and 2400 losses this weekend), but have come across quite a few players that have participated in double (or more) the amount of races I've been in. As has been said by others, being good at races and other activities is a great way to gain RP and you can do very little PvP fighting if you choose.

 

 

I get what you're saying and it's a valid point, but you know when something just doesn't feel right. This guy/girl just didn't feel legit. To reach rank 950'ish doing nothing but races? That's a lot of races, I mean that's a LOT of races, then decides suddenly at rank 950 to try a DM and fight another player? Nah, not buying it.

 

Even throwing in a few Heists and Missions, 950 is a tall order and a lot of game time. most people would try their hand at other things at least a few times.

Nah, still not buying it, not with this player. LOL. Besides, 950 isn't too far from 1000 and as I mentioned in another post, players are getting fake accounts that only have rank 100 and 200. Obviously some people just do their own thing and stick to it and not everyone likes PvP, but someone of that high a rank would/should have at least a basic understanding of other aspects of GTAO, certainly decent map knowledge.

 

As far as dialies are concerned, if this player was bothered with DO's they would have been doing them for a long while and as such would have a decent skill level at most aspects of the game. A 950 suddenly decides to do a daily after 2 and a half years, not a chance.

If you have been playing since launch religiously then Rank 1000 is easily attainable by now.

I have played since Dec 2013 and really not much at all since Star Wars Battlefront came out last November until this latest update and I have 1 character at 400 plus a second around 375. Had I simply focused on one character I would easily be over 700 if not 800 by now and many of my old friends who still play GTAO as their primary game are well above that, no hacking.

You can make rank 100 in well under three months, and RP is frequently doled out in 2x bonus for the past year.

I'll do the DO every so often. It usually happens when I'm going about my normal activities (jacking and selling cars, escaping from the police, racing, heists, modding cars, etc.) and will notice that I've already hit 2 objectives and the 3rd is something like "participate in deathmatch" or some other thing else I don't normally do. Of course I'll participate to get that quick, easy money. I don't give a sh*t if someone is better than me in a DM, since it's not a big part of my game. Most of my fighting is done in freemode lobbies helping out my crew.

I'm a realist so I like to think in a way that seems logical and clear to myself. As a person I'm quite busy, I have work and school. I don't get a lot of spare time, that being said I'm still able to play GTA Online in whatever leisure time I get because it is my favourite video game hands down. Right now I'm sitting at level 211 (I believe), I've been playing since 2014. For players I deem to have an illegitimate rank, they're people who bear an unbelieveable score of let's say 4000. Sure, I firmly believe that people could hold a higher score of, for example; 1327 because some people have that kind of time to play. I tend to steer clear of players with sketchy scores because I don't trust them quite frankly.

I'm not sure why you and others are so determined to give this guy the benifit of the doubt.

As far as 'feeling' legit is concerned, that would be a thing called perception. most people have it, some don't, lol. The poll clearly shows that people over 1000 are considered to have fake acounts. There are people on this forum who have been playing since day 1 and they probably play every day, ask some of them if they can spot a fake rank just by playing with them.

To be honest... Wheres your proof? Besides the number by their name and your gut feeling.. what do you have?

 

Most of us are not sticking up for anyone other then our friends/crew members that we have seen level up to rank 1000 and beyond... and winning in game modes that help them level up.

 

This guy you talk about.. Is not what anyone is actually defending. It just that rank 1000 is not an unreachable mountain and you can't just think someones cheating because of if. But if you really think hes a cheater then you should at least have some proof to back up those claims? Because as it stands we all know people who are legit rank lvl 1000's and one glance at their social club info proves exactly how they go there.

Max level right now legit, I'd have to say around maybe 2300.

 

I'm rank 488 or 489 or 480 something idk.

But I know how I ranked up back in early 2014, from 20-100 in 2 weeks of a few hours a night, before I started taking long breaks and when I do play it's just driving about on the map. I also know how people ranked up in 2013.

 

Factor time available, all the differences there has been over the years, and all the grinding... I'd have to say around 2300 would be what I consider the top of the mark limit for legit rank.
