How much rank do you regard as glitcher or cheater?

I'm just about to go through 666, will be interesting to see whether my kickvotes go through the roof.

I'm at 407 with my 2nd character and like 387 with my first character.

So combined that's almost 800...so if I only had one character and played the game since 2013, I'd just be getting to Rank 800.

This is why I voted, Rank 1000 and higher.

Although the [email protected] ruining the Deathmatches yesterday was an 8000 rank guy whose energy bar never went down and became the match MVP, and then proceeded to brag about it.

I'm level 436 and I'm a day 1 player, but I've had a loot of breaks, especially in summer, because I like playing other games (see my signature), so I leave GTA Online for... 3 months maybe? And my rank is quite high despite that, with way less time than the majority of people on my level.

 

Actually, I have friends that double my time played but are about 100 levels under me. Answer? 90% of the time I play (at least recently) is competitive, and if you're good at dm, you can get up to 7.000 RP in 10 minutes.

 

I have been kicked a lot of times, from races, heists, dm... and asked to give money as if I was a hacker? Damn, it's hard to find a public lobby where I don't get that type of messages lol

 

I know a few guys rank 1000 and above, being 2200 the highest. And yes, I know the guy and I know he's not a cheater. He spends 100% of his time playing missions solo, and he's been playing GTA non-stop for years. Crazy, I know, but it's his free time (well, I think he has more than free time lol)

I'm a day one player and just reached lvl 600 yesterday, and I've played an insane (IMO) amount of time (123+ days) and most of my time is spent doing something that's earning me decent RP. My crew leader makes me look like a noob with his ridiculous amount of time played and he's still under 725, so I look at anything past lvl 1,000 with a bit of suspicion, not that they're necessarily cheaters. Outside of the silly looking invisible body stuff, I only worry about that if I'm fighting someone that's obviously moving/rolling faster than normal, or seems to have unlimited RPGs, though that bit is a bit tougher to figure out now that we can buy weapons through the interactive menu. I don't spend too much worrying about it, since I'm experienced enough to still hold my own in a fight.

Generally 1500 and above is more than likely a modded account (there are players with levels below 1000 with modded accounts though - just take note of the k/d ratio in those cases, if it's something like -148949603.91 or 19586959.50 it's a modded account no doubt).

 

Also if you see someone with a ranking of 1337 (leet) or just above it's probably a modded account as well.

 

When you see those players with rankings of 5000, 6000, 6666, 7000, 7777, and 8000 those are 100% modded accounts.

Day one player... I am rank 402 at the moment.

 

However, within the first 4 days of playing, I used the Criminal Records glitch to rank to 120. Ranks 121-402 have all been legit, so technically, my legit rank is around 280. I mainly play free roam (hence the slow ranking), but I have 90+ days (2100+ hours) played.

1000 is very possible to get legitimately. Most people you see with hat probably got it illegitimately though lol, since it takes a lot of serious grinding. But it can be done (and I know people on here who have it). So I can't write off a 1000 player as a modder, or report them.

 

1500 might be possible. If someone can get to 1000 (and I know they can), then it's just a step further. I'll be 99% sure this person didn't get it legitimately, but the remaining 1% is enough that I can't say for sure.

 

1700 absolutely stinks of .... Let's say, ill gotten gains. Somewhere out there, there's probably someone who got to it, but I highly doubt any of the 1700's I've come across got theirs legitimately.

 

2000 above, well I doubt that's possible.

I was rank 282 just before F&F dropped and in that short space of time I've managed to get to rank 303. That's a big deal for me as I work quite a lot of the time, so I'm not on GTAO every day (just most evenings, ahem).

 

Things have been peaceful up until now but why do I feel that the cash begging and vote kicking are only going to get worse...

You generally only see legit lvl 1000+ in race crews, not playing hiests. I've personally seen anyone over lvl 1200 legit.

One player in lobby was rank 6666 ... had the cheek to call them self's " xxx####moddedx " the #### part had a first name !

 

 

I would say over 1500 your would start to wonder insanely high k/d is a give away as well

8000 since I know it's impossible. Not to mention, I intentionally seek out the 8000s to battle and they're piss poor at pvp...you think they'd be godlike with all that experience

Anything over a thousand is pushing it. I'm sure there are a few day 1 players who have managed it but not many. There's a lot of players who are getting more reasonable fake levels but their KD usually gives them away. They either have stupid levels or really low level.

 

I played a Vehicle Deathmatch with a Rank 900+ and a KD of 0.69 and he was rubbish, no way someone who's been playing the game that long gets beat 1 v 1 lol.

^ This is usually the general misconception of most newbies or casual players,, it really gets old fast.

 

I got tired of hearing that crap years ago.

 

Casual players don't get it.. because they don't actually play the game that much or focus to much on grinding money instead of just playing. Some kids play COD all week long then slap on GTA for a few minutes a week and think everyones a cheater thats above their level. Then claim those players have no life or are cheating..because they are jealous of a f*ckin number by their game.

 

Well before putting your foot in you mouth check their stats. They will have either gained all that RP in winning PVP game modes like races or death matches.

 

If you play alot of pvp playlist, be it capture.. adversary.. death match.. racing. etc. You gain a sh*t ton of RP for winning and playlists that just keep going. Hence you level super fast in those playlists because its constantly moving to the next job without major load screens.

 

As i said before.. Anyone who thinks anyone under lvl 1000 is a cheater can think that all they want.. Claim they cheat or have no life.. But the reality is the person who claims that is just clueless or being an idiot.

 

Its not that they have no life.. its just that they only play GTA mostly when they play video games.

This is gta... It does not matter how good you think you are or what level you are. One laggy play can kill the best player ever with ease if lag is on their side... or using auto aim.

 

 

Rank does not mean skill... Rank just means being successful at jobs. He could be a racer for all you know thats just playing a death match.

I think anything above rank 1700 would be suspicious but by no means impossible to achieve so I wouldn't automatically write anyone above that off as a cheater. It would take a ridiculous amount of effort and work though. Anything above about 2500 or so I'm not sure would be doable unless it was some sort of weird world record attempt where different people kept taking over control of the character in shifts to avoid burn out.

 

As for anything between rank 1000 and 1700 that is very doable for a committed player that is willing to put the time in and is knowledgeable in regards to what activities pay out the best for RP. Keep in mind as well that there were a number of techniques that people used to utilise to earn lots of RP back in the day that have now been patched such as the 3000 RP for doing a solo 4 minute race. So people who were putting effort into ranking up in the early days would have had it a bit easier than those doing so today.
