How much rank do you regard as glitcher or cheater?

I've just reached rank 443 in a legit way, and I've gotten some problems of being high rank, for instance, heist's host kicked me out probably because he thought I'm a glitcher. So, i'd like to know how much rank is regarded as glitcher, or cheater. Just vote one. me? I guess 1000 or above is definitely dirty.

 

edit:made some detailed choices between 1000 to 2000.

If you looked at the 16 other humblebrag level threads you'd know over 1000 is possible, you're actually quite a low rank (you're halfway to 700!), etc etc etc etc.

If a rank 1000 joined my heist, I would definitely think that he cheated his way to that rank. However, I wouldn't kick him from the heist unless he did a bad job at the heist. If it looks like he's doing everything legit in my heist, he can stay.

 

edit: platform would probably matter a lot for the results here. It's much rarer to see a legit 500+ rank on PC than on X1/PS4.

I know a few people over 1000 legit, guy I work with that got me into this game is 1086 with 177 days played and a Day 1 player. I started September 2014 and just hit 484 last night..

I would say anything over 1200 is bullsh*t.

Considering how long GTAO has been out I'll give anybody under 1000 the benefit of the doubt, and I'm sure people have gone beyond that point legitimately. Wildly inflated KDR is usually a better indicator of a glitched account.

 

In any case, I couldn't care less how glitched a character is, as long as they're playing legit around me I have no beef.

Anyone over 2000 is probably not legit.

 

Anyone at 1000 or under is probably as legit as they come. Just play alot and are successful at it..

 

Anyone who thinks a lvl 500-1000 is a glitcher is mostly a moron... or a complete newbie\ that has no concept of wtf is going on in this game.

It's easy to make an evaluation.

I'm rank 749 and play 3 hours a day on average, over the last 32 months since release. It's a massive commitment.

If someone, somehow, played 9 hours a day ON AVERAGE, they could possibly reach level 2000... so it's possible, but it's very rare to find anyone over 1000, and I'm the highest rank of nearly everyone I know.

 

About 1500 absolute max, I'd say.

Despite having some crew members/friends that have reached lvl 1000 legit, i still consider someone a cheater when i see someone in a public session with rank 800 or higher. Not because i don't think it's possible, but it's true quite a lot of the time on PS3.

I can count on one hand only the number of times I have been kicked because of my rank. Rank 343 right now, and it only happened in race lobbies where the host and everyone else was sub 100.

 

I know it's possible to be past one thousand legitimately, but anything above 2000 I would regard with a lot of suspicion. Normally if an 1000+ is sh*t at the game you can infer they're not legit.

Hey man you never know, there might a legit rank 8000 somewhere out there. One with truly no life. The most powerful man in all of GTA Online.

 

I'd have to say 1200 and above at best. It just seems very unlikely to be any higher than that.

Because our perception of what's acceptable changes every few months.

 

Back in the day when I was level 200 I went into a lobby with two 30-40 noobs, followed by a chorus of "hacker, hacker, hacker.... " squeaks for over ten minutes. It was ridiculous and my ears still hurt, but back then 200 was considered really high. Now, 1000 is pretty acceptable for most day 1 players I think.
