You can't defend from one person? don't play like a idiot if your in some slow ass vehicle with cargo park iN a alleyway or something have your boys get out of their cars and blow him and his car up, have a associate or two stay behind to kill him another time or two by then u should basically be almost home,

Load up on stickies and blow his ass up. With all your associates no reason you can't blow his ass up

Have a associate in a jet to deal with these people

I created a topic in find lobbies and players for ceo work help. If anybody feels they need help or want to help go there

easy enough, all that has to happen is for someone to get their feelings hurt and then tattle to an Admin.

ceo actually got boring really fast for me.

i filled my main garage in like 4 days and lost all interest in playing.

maybe it had something to do with me playing by myself all the time (nobody on my friends list wanted to be bothered bcuz everyone needs to be ceo....except they wouldnt do vip missions to pay other people)

so i just soloed triple crates for 4 days with 2 medium warehouses.

i beat fricken ds3 again just to get a twinge of difficulty.

I've sold about $5M in goods thus far and have done most of my work in 10+ player public sessions.

You just have to play smart.

If some comes after you relentlessly, stop your operations and kill them relentlessly.

I make them leave the session then get back to work.

Yeah, I'd rather play deathmatches when I actually feel like doing them. (which is never)

PvP is a large part of GtaOnline and I'm sorry you don't like it cause you miss out on allot of fun.

As an aside... maybe it's different on XBone but honestly I don't get anywhere close to the amount of jet griefing that a lot of people claim to have around here, CEO missions or otherwise. Vote-kicking is a much worse problem at the moment.

Actually I'm on Xbox One too.

I don't get a jet every session, though they are in quite a few. It's more that, if there is a jet in the session, then nothing's getting done in that session until they're gone.

Unless they state their business of course. But otherwise, that's way too big a threat to leave looming over you. Not like you usually need justification for attacking them anyway - 9/10, they'll be after you before you get a chance.

I haven't been kicked yet, but then nearly all the sessions split before long, so I don't have to worry about that too much. Or the jets, for that matter lol.

On ps4 it's rare I get a jet in session that is above average anyways, and even more rare once they are on ground they are even half as good. Although I did encounter a group of Mexican pilots that body glitched with bullet proof helmets and one shot kill markmen rifles the other day. Weird enough. I had fun even though I was caught on the beach between 3 of them lmao

I see what you're saying, both of you.

I rarely ever use a jet, except last night to get back to my office after doing a mission in Paleto Bay. It seemed the most logical and fastest way to get back to the city centre. It's a shame the rest of the lobby didn't think so, as I was kicked before even touching down on my helipad!

I'm sorry jet lovers/griefers, but you've sealed your own doom I'm afraid. People are just not putting up with that sh*t any more.

I know you can do this in empty session and all that.

But wouldn't it be nice if they made it.much more difficult to the enemies while you are buying and selling the goods.

I mean it literally takes one guy if he really want to mess with you and you are screwed.

Yesterday I had peace treaty until ofc this rival with 2 other associates decided to break it out of the blue trying to mess with me.

I said I'd rather have peace than war but they continued without saying anything.

So I decided to fight them even I was solo vs them three.

I couldn't believe how easy was to screw them around destroying their crates and blowing their selling tug boat especially when u are ceo and have buzzard always near you.

Man I really wanted if it was more.difficult than easy to ruin other ceo's work.

It literally takes just one guy if he decides to mess with you, even if you outnumber him.

What's your tactic in dealing with these 'issues'?

Supposedly i destroyed a tug worth 100k

Oops

That's what happens when you attempt to triple team me for nooooo reason :)

I do feel bad for the jet guys who are minding their own business, but at the same time, it's just way too powerful a vehicle to leave roaming around.

If the jet has stated it's friendly, then I'll leave them well alone. If not though, then I've got to assume they'll be after me when I'm doing my crates, so I have to take them out first.

i don't vote to kick though, I just try take them down.

Oh yes. We might be an endangered species, but we're still around.

It's probably just the different ways we play then. I stay in sessions for a while, and I can be very reluctant to leave if someone's causing trouble in one (I just do my best to get them out instead).

I'd probably do well to adopt your approach instead though lol. Just the other day, I ended up spending a whole session just fighting off a group of jets (in my trusty old Buzzard). They eventually went, but I would've made a lot more money if I'd just moved on.

Coleco Vee (ex Dee Rez, I think) is the only person here I'm friends with on XB1, but we rarely bump into each other because of our time zones - I'm in Brazil and she's tucked up in bed just as I'm getting going, I guess.

Anyone want to add me on XB1, you're welcome - JENKIIII - and we can feel each other out and see if we get along. Can't promise any more than that.

I think you meant "Figuratively impossible"

Because I have had 100% success with all my crate deliveries and sales so far, all in populated servers. Play with friends, have them cover you in jets/choppers. Use insurgents/kurumas if you want added protection. And be smart about your routes to and from the warehouse. And be ready for the sale. Don't do a sale alone.. only idiots try and sell tugboats filled with cargo by themselves. And I prey on the idiots... I will gladly blow up your tugboat if you're all alone delivering a shipment..

That's the healthy approach. When I'm being smart, I do that. When I'm being, uh... let's say "cantankerous," I end up abandoning any attempt to make money and instead take out the jet - and then (of course) get sucked into a jet war because the percentage of people who get killed in a jet and then don't immediately start trying to get a new jet is less than 5%, I think. The vast majority of time I spend in a jet anymore is initiated because I felt obligated to destroy somebody else's. (I don't go headhunting like that if they're just flying around harmlessly, but that is such a tiny minority of jet pilots that it was barely worth adding this parenthetical.) Even if I ignore them at first, I don't bother trying to buy or sell crates with a jet in the air, anywhere on the map. They move too fast and the risk is therefore too high. Which is what sucks about them: even when they're not being overpowered currently, the constant POTENTIAL for them being overpowered completely changes how you play the game, if you're at all intelligent.

And while vote-kicking is a widespread problem right now (it happened to me the other day, and I was a CEO at the time), I have no doubt that it would be far less prevalent if jets didn't exist.

Having said that I like to do CEO stuff in sessions where there are other players , I don't think I'd risk doing anything other than the buying runs like that - no way I'd risk millions doing the big deliveries!!

The thing that I can't do is the VIP missions, like headhunter, in between buys - if there are a few players who want to try and get involved and defend the targets then it either takes too long or doesn't get done at all.

I wonder how those Besra pilots feel about that.

That's where my approach is better. I don't kick, but I'll get my own armed aircraft to give them some action back.

If I see it's a lovely little Besra though, I'd leave it alone.

And just to be clear, I would not shoot down a jet that had said it was friendly. It's just the unidentified threats that make me paranoid.

Even if it wasn't a huge pain in the ass dealing with other players, the payoff is so low and the amount of investment and risk is so high that i stopped playing after like 20 crates. No other method in gtao requires risking losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in a single event. Plus you need at least a million invested to even start playing. And all that would be excusable if the collection and selling missions were fun but they are not, they are repetitive and boring.

yeah exactly. I had pvp on this game. I've done it in the past and even occasionally during the update but it's unfun for me. I just kick everyone or log in a ton of accounts at once. People have been "hiring me" to control a lobby now with tons of fake accounts with the same crew name. It's easy to kick people too though.

Clearly not impossible, just annoying and time consuming with an extremely heavy upfront cost. Either find a quiet lobby or make some extremely reliable friends. I'd still rather do it in a friends only session, but the new bonus you get for other CEO's being in the room is nice. Turns a 2.2mil payday into nearly 3 mil with the max number of CEO's, assuming you survive the sell.

What's your tactic in dealing with these 'issues'?

One guy can't screw with you at all if you have 3 competent players as associates.

The key is to assemble a good crew of 3 or 4 players.

Even with jet backup I find it easy to destroy their crates.

It really should have been the other way around. To be easier for ceo to do work than players who already have enough money and destroy ceo stuff just to ruin their gameplay.

Because I'm one of those who find farming solo in solo session boring. And I want to have some challlenge in doing ceo work in full lobby but not when it's not fair and almost impossible.

Ok this lie that people destroy crates to "ruin" gameplay needs to be put to a final rest.

It is INTENDED. The game explicity INSTRUCTS players to do so and gives them a meager reward so that they aren't motivated by payout, but instead are motivated by the challenge.

If you aren't up to providing much of a challenge in the form of resistance then that is ON YOU.
