CEO Work virtually impossible in freemode?

I know you can do this in empty session and all that.

But wouldn't it be nice if they made it.much more difficult to the enemies while you are buying and selling the goods.

I mean it literally takes one guy if he really want to mess with you and you are screwed.

Yesterday I had peace treaty until ofc this rival with 2 other associates decided to break it out of the blue trying to mess with me.

I said I'd rather have peace than war but they continued without saying anything.

So I decided to fight them even I was solo vs them three.

I couldn't believe how easy was to screw them around destroying their crates and blowing their selling tug boat especially when u are ceo and have buzzard always near you.

Man I really wanted if it was more.difficult than easy to ruin other ceo's work.

It literally takes just one guy if he decides to mess with you, even if you outnumber him.

What's your tactic in dealing with these 'issues'?

Even with jet backup I find it easy to destroy their crates.

It really should have been the other way around. To be easier for ceo to do work than players who already have enough money and destroy ceo stuff just to ruin their gameplay.

Because I'm one of those who find farming solo in solo session boring. And I want to have some challlenge in doing ceo work in full lobby but not when it's not fair and almost impossible.

try find other session with a jet and trigger the crate's visibility to jet , that'll makes you jet magnet

They should've made it that enemies need to steal crates. Would be a bigger reward then, as well as giving you a chance to kill them and get the crates back.

And people may as well face it lol, the jet is becoming too much of an issue. I dread getting a Tug delivery mission in public, since I know it will be absolutely doomed if there's a vaguely decent jet pilot around.

Offer peace initially and if they're not interested, change session.

Let some other mug become their target if they just want to get up in someone's grill.

Try to find a session with a jet, then have the crate bw visible to all people (eg. Go pick it up). That makes you a prime jet target.

And the option to steal crates would still not be enough, because for those people who attack CEOs it is not about money. The reward is pitiful and they still do it. Even the jet would not be that much of a problem if everybody was not visible on the map at all times. With constant radar blips, only avoidable for a short time at a price, freeroam is easy mode for griefers.

Offer a peace offering to all the CEO's in the session.

Play in a solo public lobby.

(We already have a thread that explains both of these)

I just test out the waters and buy one crate to see what happens. If nobody attacks I move on to 2 crates and get a crew together.

Well the major problem (in my opinion) is the jet.

Other people blowing up the crates are a pain, but at least they can (usually) be countered or avoided. A jet though ... A tug's not escaping a fighter jet, unfortunately.

They should cut the price of ghost organization though too - I mean, $15K for 2/3 minutes off the radar? You're losing more money than you're making at that rate.

Sorry couldn't find the thread. Anyway Iknow that I should change session or ask for peace but what's the best tactic to use against jets and players in general that just play to destroy your crates?

Well I wouldn't bother with CEO work while these people are in the session. Go after them, give them a taste of their own medicine, then once/if they leave, I get back to what I wanted to do in the first place (CEO work).

The best tactic is still to switch session.

Sure it can be a pain but they'll never be able to take your crates that way :D

As an aside... maybe it's different on XBone but honestly I don't get anywhere close to the amount of jet griefing that a lot of people claim to have around here, CEO missions or otherwise. Vote-kicking is a much worse problem at the moment.

I do solo, single crate runs in something fast and armored (the Benefactor XLS is my go-to), in conjunction with Off the Radar (or ghost org if it's gonna be a long drive) when absolutely necessary. Works for me, anyway. I don't have enough faith in the GTA populace to hire associates, choppers get shot down too easily, and I don't own/want a jet.

There is at least three active "I dont wanna play CEO in freemode" crying threads, follow the tears.

I've sold about $5M in goods thus far and have done most of my work in 10+ player public sessions.

You just have to play smart.

If someone comes after you relentlessly, stop your operations and kill them relentlessly.

I make them leave the session then get back to work.

Simple rules:

When in a busy lobby do a test run with one crate. You get 30-40 seconds of anonymity before your location is pinged to the whole lobby (it's a bonus) which is often enough time to get away and plan your route/escape. It's only a 2k investment, so you can afford to lose it.

Never attempt deliveries when outnumbered. There are too many griefers out there who relish in messing it up for others. And never attempt deliveries after skirmishing with other players - they'll mess you up just to get revenge.

If I'm delivering the goods back to the warehouse and I see jet/buzzard coming my way, I take the easy way out. It's easier for me to respawn and take them out with my homing launcher or snipe them with some distance.

I kind of like the spice it's adds being in a free mode session with other people when doing CEO work.

The NPCs are very little trouble so it's a bit more exciting wondering if someone is going to come after you, and defending your cargo if they do. My one regret is buying a large warehouse that's too far out of the way - lots of long ass journeys in slow ass trucks!!

Yeah, I'd rather play deathmatches when I actually feel like doing them. (which is never)

Hahaha that was neat.

Although I'm merely a gothamite, not necessarily the Batman :p
