Unjustified Banning Incident

I come to you, on bended knee, begging for help.

See, on Friday the 17th I purchases a key for GTA:V, the Social Club version in order to play GTA:O with my friends online.

After a lengthy install I got the game running and was happy, checking my stats I've played online for about 3 hours so far.

In that time I have not modded my game in anyway, I have not ran any 3rd party programs that may effect GTA:V and I have not used or come into contact with anybody using hacking tools, all the lobbies I entered seemed legit, nothing out of the ordinary ever happened.

And yet, during the afternoon of Saturday the 18th, at around 5-6PM GMT I tried going online at the request of a friend who wanted to play together, to my utter dismay I was met with a message telling me I have been banned until the 28th of this month.

It's only a 10 day ban, but I'm furious I have done nothing to warrant this ban, I have not been told why I was banned, I was just banned on the spot with no rime or reason.

Contacting Rockstar seems neigh impossible, any tickets requesting a ban appeal are met with an instantaneous automatic response telling me nothing can or will be done and the ticket marked as solved.

So I tried opening a ticket and categorized it as 'Other' in order to get a human response, but after 12 hours I receive nothing.

Contacting them via twitter has done nothing after a similar amount of time, no matter what I do Rockstar doesn't seem to respond.

I come to this fourm pleading for advice, or some sort of answer to quell my unrest, because I am unable to even use the official Rockstar Social Club fourm due to an asinine rule about new accounts only being permitted to lurk for a month before posting themselves.

Now, I know the ban is only temporary, but I'm furious, I pay good money for a game only to be treated like scum and who knows if I'll get banned again mere moments after my current ban expires.

I need answers.

Looking into the matter, it appears their is some sort of automated system running off of algorithms that issues bans, but clearly this system is broken as I did nothing to warrant my ban.

No mods, no hacks, no nothing. A pure vanilla game only owned for around 24hrs before a stern and unruly ban from RS's automated service.

I plead to all of you here, offer my any support you can.

Even if I can't get my ban lifted early, I just want to talk to somebody as RS has no intention of listening.

Thank for for reading.

Do you run any recording or frame rate programs?

In any event nobody here can do anything unfortunately.

I was banned 1 month ago for 10 days. I'd never used mods, single player or online. Contacted Rockstar support. Nothing.

10 days later, I was unbanned. Right in time for this new update. They'd taken all my money (some was illegitimate -- not all) and left me with $20,000.

Then I was banned again instantly, for 1 month.

Turns out if happened to a lot of people. Nobody believed us, treated like trash by Rockstar and on GTA forums alike. Just trying to get some answers.

After another week, the ban was lifted. Rockstar never lift temporary bans, unless they've messed up. I didn't even receive an email letting em know, found out though other people getting unbanned.

Since then I've been playing, making money for the new cars. today I'm banned again. Rockstar does not reply to support tickets, they have the worst support I've ever dealt with. Guilty until proven innocent, then they act like nothing ever happened.

If you didn't cheat, you'll likely be unbanned. Just don't expect to be treated fairly. You're a criminal in their eyes. Not so much as a notification, much less an apology for the false-ban.

i felt so bad when reading this... i guess the least thing op could do is spam tickets one after another until one gets a proper response.
