Why do associates get mad when I stay in my office?

FALSE

Headhunter/Sightseer is by far the highest payout in terms of $ over time in the entire game. So earning 10k just for being online vs possibly being contended with in headhunter/sightseer, is not bad at all just as stated.

You can do VIP missions in private/crew sessions, in which there is absolutely no possibility of being contended.

Also, an associate that is doing nothing (just being online as you say) is not the subject of this thread. This thread is explicitly about a CEO that monitors the organization while 3 associates go out and do the work.

You need contextual awareness. Type less, read more.

So wait- not only do you not pay them for collecting the crates, you do not help them either?? Get your pixelated fat ass off the chair and come downstairs! J/K :p

CEOs be like: "look out, enemies are coming!!!"

Associates: "yeah, we know dude, we can use our maps too. How bout you come back us up so that most of our measly pay doesn't get wiped out in anmo costs."

Personally, I only do one package at a time anyhow so that I'm maximizing profits while reducing risk of lost cargo.

You are absolutely not maximizing profit. You make less profit over time running one crate at a time that three. You are making less profit for your time spent. In the real world this would be an example of inefficient business.

There are threads on here and vids on youtube that prove the most profitable way is to do one crate at a time. 111 crates sold at once by collecting 1 crate at a time pays the same amount as collecting 3 crates at a time. As you know, buying 2 or 3 crates at a time causes the individual price to go up.

Multiple crate runs exist just to save time and fill up warehouses quicker. In the real world, we would get a discount per crate if we bought more than one, not charged more like in the game.

Real world can work that way, too. Have you not seen some government contracts?

There are some practical real world business situations where a buyer would pay more per-unit for volume.

Yah but youre ignoring the time factor. If it takes 7 hours to fill a large warehouse 1 crate at a time but 4.5 hours doing 3 at a time it wont be as profitable. The only way its more profitable doing one crate is if you do it close to the same time as 3.

It sounds boring as hell. To each his own, though. If an associate doesn't like it they can always quit.

I guess it's all about how the CEO's plays- if he's grinding these runs, then yea I see your point. He will be filling his second warehouse while the 1 crate guy is still on his first. But if it's someone who is like me who does crate runs here and there, and is patiently waiting for them to fill before selling, then multiple crate runs are not ideal.

Soran Is On

OP is a troll post

that being said you could relay all your logistical info to them while maintaining a healthy over-watch in a buzzard. Once the pickup is 90% complete head to your office to start the next one. This is what a responsible cooperative ceo would do.

I think I would be a little more spiteful. Help him fill the warehouse then destroy the cargo during delivery

There are so many different types of leaders. There's no one good type. If he prefers sitting in his office and giving out logistical directions, there's nothing wrong with it.

This thread still going then?

It's pretty obvious now that the OP was trolling us. I couldn't believe what he said and fell for the troll bait hook, line and sinker. I even told some online friends about it, HA-HA, they said, there's no way it's a genuine post, you've been trolled.

Well done OP, it was a good one ;)

I feel like you're trolling, but I'll reply for the hell of it.

The associates get paid table scraps while you make (theoretically, not necessarily true) bank. Why should they go and get the cargo without any assistance from you, for chump change? Its your cargo AND your paycheck on the line, so work for it...

lol i still don't get why people accept to be an associate if they are not willing to just do what the game tells them to do as associates. I mean, if you are so broke you have to worry for ammos just do the CEO yourself or grind some other stuff.

As an associate, you will earn a small amount of money anyway, whatever the CEO does. Smart CEOs will stay in office cause working this way is more efficient. Period. Smart players in general will do this whole thing solo or with friends/crewmates and they will alternate being the CEO. Another period.

Randumbs will search for other randumbs and the whole thing will be totally f*cked up because total idiocy and lack of skills or because "blah blah blah we're supposed to play together but i'm just willing to be the troll that ruins the fun or the naif idiot that complains about everything on the internet".

Make some friends or be a lonewolf OR introduce yourself to the crazy jungle where every kind of sh*t can happen. Stop whining and, most of all, stop tryin to give a philosophical and intelligent reason to still act as if you don't understand how GTAO goes.

Today I played 2 hours while in the office.

Then went outside and painted my cars and it feels so different.

I would love to work for you.

Whenever I get associate invites, I just accept and do my own thing while getting paid with no intention of helping the CEO,

We'd get a lot done with both our work ethics.

I am well aware of lazy players and I normally fire them if they don't go try and head towards the crates before others do.

When I fire someone I usually like to drive or fly out to them like I am picking them up or getting ready for a mission or I even tell them to come to me......I then walk up to them....interaction menu...terminate...

...as soon as they are no longer an associate....I will shoot them in the head and drive off.

They always get the message that way.

Maybe I take the game too seriously but I like to fire someone in person.
