Is it me or hackers are gone. I just came back to the game after months and I'm yet to see any hacker giving money or going on rampage in god mode. God there were so many of them back then.

People getting filthy rich in no time while we work our ass off for even half a million...

 

Did rockstar do something about them or I was just being lucky not to see them for past week?

All you need to know is, all the little dickheads with mod menus are gone. Rockstar patched the method they used to make the menus work online and now we have the longest peaceful time in Online free from cheaters.

 

External hacks still work but they are very limited, we are talking aimbot/god mode/ESP etc but they cannot spawn things, blow up everyone in the session, freeze you, all that annoying sh*t is currently impossible.

Developers of external hacks charge a lot of money per month for them, this is good because most skiddicks can't afford/won't pay for a hugeley lesser version of the menus they are used to using.

 

Online on PC is now currently similar to that of PS4/Xbox One in terms of cheating.

Not true. I can confirm that it also now detects MOST tunables and bans you on the same day.

 

Honestly, huge props to Rockstar. Better late than never.

And that's not neccasrily a modder..could have been gotten from a glitch, or a mod, and it's now just saved as an outfit.

Some merchant office invited me last night. I went in to see him and his associates. The ceo had a head and shoes on that was it..

I done a dock action,left and waited outside in a hydra until they were ready to do a job.

He started the job with his associates. For 30 seconds then left :)

The only hacking i have encountered on pc since the last update was a bounty placed on someone. It was worth something like 4.9 million

No it's not. Encountered a teleporter/godmode guy 2 days ago. Ps4/X1 is still the cleanest and it'll stay like that

Teleporting seems to get you banned. The non-mod menu cheats arent blocked, but they do get detected and land you a ban. I think god mode is the only one left that is not detectable from the non-mod menu cheats.

Yes, although I heard it's possible to drop money for yourself in a solo session. Can't confirm though.

About time Rockstar stepped up their game and focused on getting rid of these little twerps. I'm glad those on PC can now have a more enjoyable gaming experience. Too bad they stopped support for last gen though. That's where all of the script kiddies are and will always be.

i watched two players bounce around the map and i called them out, next thing you know they are raging on me, like your wrong so take it out on others........fml

if this is the case, then seem like R* finally is taking actual control of the pc version.

 

for the sake of the pc players i just hope they dont let the guard down, keep on tackling on this issue.

Playing this game since 2013 for the first time...i just dont expect this sh*t to last more then 6 months

 

Realy...the trust in the makers of my most played game ever is nearly unexistant in that regard for what i personaly consider rational reasons

the longest modders-free time i ever experienced on ps3 was about 2 months... back on december 2014 they incluided something with the festive surprise dlc that disabled a lot of modmenus. they broke whatever they did when the heist update when live, modders were back 24hours after the patch.

 

you guys on pc seem to get a lot of small random updates, so chances of them breaking their fix is higher.

Haha I hate begging. I always tell them they would get banned for begging and they get scared pretty quickly. Or just tell them come to me, then kill them.

 

The game is just cleaner without them, but the damage has already been done. I mean it takes us clean players lot of time to get money and buy any expensive stuff while they get glitched money and insta buy all the nice things we've been always wanting.

Then you finally buy it and realize it lost all the excitment because of beggers and modders.

It still gets you banned with a high probability a few hours later.
