carlos1984 Posted June 18, 2016 Share Posted June 18, 2016 hi guys I have a lenovo p580 running with 8gb ram i7 nvidia gt630m with 2 gb vram on win 8.1., my problem is no mater what I do I cannot get a decent framerate. I used commandline text to get rid of the user resource message and what I notice is that no matter what settings I use , the framerate starts good say around 50 and then it dropps to under 10, is happens if the settings are on high, med or low, i have turned v synce off and turned everything down to 1. I know that on youtube a guys with a gt630m 1gb is getting 40-50fps, .is there anything else I can do to gett a good game experience? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Red Hat Posted June 19, 2016 Share Posted June 19, 2016 (edited) That sounds like your laptop is overheating. Downgrade to Patch 1.0.4.0. Keep your shadows at low, and play the game with your laptop plugged in. Oh and it's best that you keep the battery removed while gaming.
