I haven't had one call off ron since the update anyone else missing that prick terribly?

No not at all, I just want a DLC mission update where we can silence them forever.

 

 

Two and a half years ago, my character and I arrived in Los Santos and met Lamar Davis. Armed with a pistol, a stolen car, and the clothes on her back, we began clawing our way up from the bottom. We were small-time AF, begging low-lifes like Simeon and Gerald for work. Over time we graduated to pulling off larger jobs for Lester and Martin. Eventually, we made it to the big time and were able to pull off heists for the major players (and Trevor) , after years of working for someone else the FAFF DLC allowed my character and I to become a power player. Anyone that says FAFF isn't a game-changer is... entitled to their opinion. You effectively go from being an employee to an employer.

Thoughts?

 

To be honest, I feel like we are Trevor Philips instead of Martin Madrazo.

 

Just like Trevor we now own a company and have a status "CEO", having an office assistant and hire people for some small time jobs, same as Trevor with his TPI with an office assistant Ron and an associate Wade who just blindly works for T.

We occasionally done some heist with Lester and different contacts, pretty much what Trevor did in the singleplayer story.

We go out doing survival, killing gang members, woke up in GTAO in different locations, being a complete maniac sociopaths.

 

Yeah I think I just become more or less Trevor Philips

But can we even have that big of a impact without us being mentioned or showing up in the singleplayer game? I feel like we wont really get much higher than this, because in the end we just want cash by any means and not become an established criminal empire. GTA online is before the singleplayer story, right? So it is a little bit limited in that sense.

Maybe our characters get killed or move to a different state sometime before story mode? Maybe Trevor bashes in our heads just like he did with Johnny? Maybe that's why there's no mention of our online characters except when Franklin mentions to Michael that Madrazo had some lawyers disappear because they had a case against him. There is a Martin mission where we have to kill a bunch of lawyers too.

Lester did mention he worked with a few unpredictable folks in the past, Trevor hinted some people helped him shaped up his TPI.

 

Maybe back in the day R* didn't think of how big of a impact we will made/become.

Ah I forgot about those other times. If Rockstar did add story DLC, and it's a big if at this point, maybe we'll see more mentions of our characters? It would be cool if so. Maybe even include our online characters into a story mode dlc where we get to play as our character and help Lamar wipe out all of the Ballas and Vagos once and for all. Hopefully even kill Gerald too. After all, if it wasn't for Lamar meeting our characters on some online site and inviting us to Los Santos, we (our characters) wouldn't be where we are today. The least we could do is help a brotha out with one final favor after all since Franklin is a sh*t friend to Lamar.

CEO work changed the direction of the game certainly and made free roam interesting but I'mn afraid it's not for me.

 

I've done two days of it now and I don't like it, I really hate having to write that but it's the truth I'm afraid.

 

Far too much work involved, having to stock up the warehouse then run delivery runs with other players/NPC random vehicle spawns coming at you etc, too

much for me as I have very little time for that type of gameplay which is a shame and I for one was broke before the update and now I'm even more broke

because I won't run the risk of loosing the goods I've bought.

 

Personal gripes with the money clutter etc aside I dislike public lobbies INTENTLY so the very fact that I have to do that work in a public lobby that's a no go area,

I'll only do that if I am with friends that won't be morons or if I end up leaving the lobby thanks to the famous server connection where you leave the session but

says everyone else left.

 

So I guess the only things I'll be playing are the missions as that's the only thing I play now other than some DM's/Races but not for awhile, I'm shelving this

for a long time, I have to for my own well being.

Lucky. He won't stop calling me about picking up crates (right after I deliver a crate to my warehouse), or about joining him as the acting CEO.

I hope he never calls again the amount of times hes interrupted me when im about to strike with a sniper is unreal never any other time always that golden headshot moment lol
