CEOs are also the new pre-pay-patch Geralds with how sh*t the payouts for associates are. I could earn more grinding Gerald missions in an hour compared to what associates currently get. Reason I haven't bothered accepting invites even though I'd like to.

20k+ for a headhunter?

Yes, I also wanna kill Ron, and beat up lester for calling me about pointless things.

I want to saw Lester in half.

I don't get the hate against Lester; he gave me heist opportunities, takes care of the cops and lets me go off the radar! For me Lester is God!

This brings the question: What's next after all of this?

Next update around the corner is Stunts, have nothing to do with being a criminal.

you get the point!

like i said in other thread like a week ago, it makes sense R* stopped adding contact missions, we started doing jobs for others, now we are the bosses, we call the shots.

without doubt this update is really game changing, for a person that have been playing since day 1, its really nice to see how our characters have evolved.

it may not come next, it may never come but in my book casino, masion/villas and the stock market are the natural progression of this update.

Totally agree OP, great thread!

I was actually thinking about the same things when the DLC came about and it just feels so awesome that now we are our own bosses and are self sufficient, it gave us a giant leap of progression. People like us that have played since day one (also those playing for a long time) are even luckier as we can get this true feeling of progressing after all our hard work and grinding, and now it has paid off.

We are close to Madrazo level, certainly, but not quite there yet. Let's remember that Madrazo runs operations internationally with his drug and crime rings, technically we do to as we buy and sell from/to other countries but everything we do is based in LS. Martin has operations like ours on various places, but I'm sure we will get to expand to another state in the future.

Now all we need is an "official" timeline of events, from where we got off the plane till the end times on LS (how and whenever that may be) :)

There has been more than one sell items mission that the dropoff was at Madrazzo's house outside LS. So he's apparently one of our customers.

And with the timeline of events, it would be interesting for a character story arch that some of our actions from the heist update come back to haunt us. The owner of the bonds from Fleeca, and the FIB unhappy about their agents getting slaughtered in Humane Labs: Key Codes.

I love these "rise to power" updates.I hope Rockstar keeps bringing more CEO content.

But part of me wants more.Big stunts, big jobs....big heists....

I wouldn't be playing GTA if I didn't want to do some dirty work, right?

The implication being that associates get paid for it, much like a martin mission, except martin doesn't pay a wage.

Not with the new payout scheme. Just as an FU I'll fire up Blow up etc... Then go make a sandwich / clean the bathroom / whatever. Come back 12 or so minutes later, blow up the cars, walk to the dealership (following all pedestrian walk / don't walk signs) and collect $12,000-$15,000 for the job. f*ck you Simeon!

While you were off playing with yourself for 15mins, I played more missions and made another 25-30k more. Noobs always think it's best to let the time run, when all their doing is wasting time. LOL

A man has to eat and do his chores on occasion, might as well rip off Simeon while I'm doing it.

Otherwise I'll fire up a time locked mission and spawn custom Dubstas / Sandkings then knock it out quick with my Buzzard.

True. I'll never understand these people who grind 3-minute missions (plus 1 minute load/cloud time) back to back and then brag here about how much money they make per hour. When you let the 15-minute timer run, you get 12 free minutes, as you stated. So we 15-minute rubberbanders only work about 16 minutes per hour (including cloud time) to make about 2/3 what the back-to-back grinders make.

For us, the net effect is either (1) Rockstar pays us about $800 per minute for doing all manner of real world, real life stuff, or (2) alternatively, we're making about 3x per minute of actual hands-on playtime, compared to the back-to-back grinders.

For being small-time, Gerald has still made me uncounted millions. :p

PS: I should add, I actually do understand the back-to-back players. If you have a group of 4 friends getting together for 4 to 6 hours in a night, to grind these contact missions, yeah, you all can make a nice stack of paper.

But playing solo, the rubberband and 15 minute timer are your best friends. :p

That's only if u are depending on crates. If u are a associate the payouts are the payouts every 5 or ten minutes and vip work. The deliveries are the ceo's payout. The vip mission haulage only takes 5 min max and nets everybody 25,000 a mission. It's possible to make over 100,000 in less than 30 min. So I disagree about the Gerald pays more nonsense.

Let's be honest here. If this was an MMO maybe some of you would a force to be reckoned with, but your just a player with a lot of things. Your not a serious threat like Martin...

What do u think gta online is? An open world sandbox mmo type. And the op is right the only thing different is he has operations in other locations while we are based in LS. Especially seeing as airfreight is like a mini coveted mission.

Not for me playing solo. The time u take playing one mission I could play a round of rr and make 15,000 and play a survival for 30,000 solo.

As the new Martin Madrazo, I have only one thing left to do...

But seriously, it's nice to see the progression from when we started from scratch in October and became CEO's last week. Who knows, maybe Mission Creator is next?

See, you surpassed Madrazo. You would actually be playing golf.

I hate the character, personally, but that was actually a joke. He says that about himself, referring to Paige after saying she's his assistant.

Besides, how can anyone like someone who has conversation skills like this...

"What do you want? I'm guessing this isn't a personal call."

Select 'Lose wanted level'.

"Well.... I guess this isn't a personal call."

Can't believe I didn't get that joke as I've done Fleeca many, many times... And you're absolutely right about that 'personal call thing', that's just retarded.

But Lester will always remain in my heart for the services he provides. I guess I may also just have a thing for socially awkward people...

I am Several Chickens.

I am jrl51592. Your post contributes nothing to this thread.

On Topic: When you think about it, it's quite amazing how far we (our characters) have come. Those of us that have been here since day one, only dreamt of being able to do what we can do in the game today. New players have it lucky as they are spoiled by all of the things that they have available to them as well as how much easier it is for them to make bank compared to day one. Even though there has been lots of ups and downs with each update, I do look forward to what is to come in the future updates and the direction as well as the narrative that Rockstar will take the game towards.

at this point i don't care about how little they used to pay us. the problem now is that we're such big players with our own multimillion dollar corporations, yet that cheap ass simeon still sends us texts with a list of cars to jack.
