Problems with the sticky bombs in GTA Online

Hi, I'm alemarco258, an Italian player of GTA V and GTA Online. I play this game since 2014 so I think I'm quite expert (I played GTA V on PS3. now on PS4 and PC), but on PS4 version I have some problems with the sticky bombs... If I launch a sticky bomb when I am in a car not always it detonate, but it don't explode and change the radio. Another problem is when I want to buy sticky bombs at the start of a GTA race or from the Interaction menu, it seems that I don't unlock the sticky bombs because I can't buy them with this methods. But I reached the level 19 (at the moment i am level 117) and from ammunation i can purchase them. What can I have to do for resolve this little problems? And sorry for my elementary English and for some mistakes, but my first language is Italian and it's not very similar to the English ;)

There could be a number of causes.

 

Are you setup to Aim + Fire or Fire only on your Control Pad, if you are set to Aim + Fire you need to aim with L1 and then throw the sticky with R2 and

it will detonate when you press left d-pad

 

I don't think sticky bombs can be bought at the start of a GTA Race (I am always full ammo) but I will have to check that again.

Thank for the rapid answer... Yes, i play with Aim + Fire and i know how to detonate a sticky bomb, but, when i press left d-pad, it changes the radio and the bomb don't detonate. I think I can buy sticky bombs in GTA race, because on PC i can and my friends on PS4 can buy them before the start of the race. And on PC I can buy them from Interaction Menu, but on PS4 i can't.

The not detonating the bomb part is a common problem with the PS4 as I get that from time to time.

 

As for not being able to buy Stickie's as I said I'll need to check on that one and see what might be the issue but think you might have to raise

that with R* support.

I know the not detonating is most common then the my second problem... I try to contact R* support

Attach a video of the problem to your ticket will also help them understand it a bit better I would say, certainly not one I've come

across but I will check it again myself when I next play.

On PS3? It seems only on Sony versions of GTA V there is this problem. I follow some italian youtubers of gta and in some gta race they have the same problem

I don't ever seen a bomb disappear because I go too fast in the races, but an italian youtuber that i follow (i played with him in that moment) found bombs disappeard. I think this is the problem: when i try to detonate the bomb, the bomb doesn't exist, so, with left d-pad, in the car the radio changes
