best mission to grind without heists?

What is the best mission to grind besides heists? I want to try out the new CEO and office stuff but have no money and no one I know wants to do heists, so what is the best mission to grind?

Yeah, Aunty Fascist - the guy didn't ask for a short-winded comment hyperlinking him to a list of every mission conceivable.

He asked for what mission people think is the best to grind and make money on.

So, in keeping up with actually contributing to the topic, my suggestion for a good contact mission to grind would be A Titan of A Job - last time I used to grind this, the payouts were reasonably good and you could get a good pattern going to get in and out of the base.

Seriously though, try joining Heist missions (especially finales) from time to time.

Its not rare you'll be the final player needed and everyone else is at least level 100 or something, as opposed to the struggle hosting your own heist without a good crew.

There's no one set mission that pays a lot as far as I know. Just keep playing different contact missions one after the other. You can make a decent amount of money doing this, but it ultimately comes down to how much time you're willing to spend grinding the missions.

Gee, thanks for mansplaining my post to me, it really makes my day when some condescending gamerbro looks down his nose at me.

I came back to say what I generally do when grinding solo is alternate one of the higher paying missions for the full 15 minutes with Sightseer VIP work which pays $25K if I stretch it to less than 5 minutes on the clock. If you sell a Baller or better every 48 minutes you can make a bit over $100K an hour or thereabouts.

That wiki page I linked breaks down all the missions by pay and explains the how the pay scale works with mission time.

Sightseer or Headhunter. Find a friend that already has VIP/CEO stuff for this.

I usually do Simeon missions. Simple and straight forward. Go to the car, steal it, bring it back, wait 15 minutes, BOOM. 22K+ right there. Also, join heist set up missions. They pay 15-25K per set up. Keep grinding until you reach that 1 million, buy an office, buy a warehouse, then find a solo lobby and grind cargo. Made 2.2 million within 2 days using only the small 250K warehouse.

Also when you can, buy the armoured Karuma. VERY. USEFUL. IN. HEADHUNTER.

Rooftop Rumble. Cliche, maybe, but it's one of the quickest and most profitable missions in the game. Especially when using an Armored Kuruma.

Contact Mission: Rooftop Rumble, try to get headshots, it's quick and easy.

VIP Missions: Headhunter and Sightseer, get a free Helicopter or use Kuruma, fast ~21k

CEO cargos and selling, get the cheapest office and cheapest warehouse, in no time, you will hit break even point.

You can make an extra 8k by grabbing the cash out of breakable green boxes in los santos connection. That's the only way to beat the time cap on mission payouts, otherwise you make basically the same amount no matter what missions you play. Also, you get paid more the more people are playing missions with you. Finally, you get over 20k for sight seer no matter how fast you do it, but it is capped at 25k.

So that basically leaves you with two choices if you want to beat the rate limiting factor, which is the timed payout caps; you can either play sightseer and/or ls connection back to back repeatedly, or you can try to find a good six play lobby doing contact missions and hope to chain missions together back to back. But either way, you are probably never going to make more than 120 to 150 k per hour of gameplay, and you probably won't make less than 100k playing back to back contact missions.

So basically, you might as well just play however you want and not worry too much about the money. Another thing to keep in mind is you can sell cars every 48 minutes. If you take advantage of that you can make bank, you basically make 15-16k for a few minutes of work each time, way better than mission payouts.

If you are interested, look up the modded sandking xl spawning method at Larry's rv's, there are lots of youtube videos explaining it. Basically you just steal a sandking, put a tracker on it, drive in a circle, and repeat. I can steal one per minute and 16 at a time, so if you do the math i basically make about 250k for 15 minutes of work, but just spread out over several days. Nice thing is you can keep doing this when you dont have a lot of time to play and still be making money. I've made tens of millions and about 15% of my total income doing this. Can't stress enough how easy and effective this method is for maikng money.

Well all I really did was normal-explain the OP so perhaps you'd come across like less of a condescending gamerbro yourself, with the whole 'heres a link figure it out yourself' kind of attitude.

One-worded hyperlink posts aren't really appreciated on a forum, which is intended to open dialogue rather than be used as a search engine. So ty for actually coming back and contributing, that was my only point

Los Santos Connect is the go to cash farm for contact missions. If you don't use aircraft, it takes long enough that you get through a good deal of the 4-16 min pay scale system and you can pick up easy cash from the green crates on the ground.

IIRC 500 per crate: 1 at the truck, 1 at the hack, 3 at the hanger. Play with crew members and you get both a 10% rp and cash bonus per person up to 4 people. Max I've seen from it was like 32k excluding the insane bonus week for contacts where I was making 50-64k a run.

A Titan of a Job is also good as flying the titan kills time for the multiplier while your teammates get loot cash and rp for killing reinforcements at the hanger.

Los santo connection with a savage, that's so fast and easy to grind . personally I like artificial scarcity as well , it's extremely easy and a no brainier if you have an attack chopper. Sight seeker definity is the best , easy no cost of any bullet while having higher pay out then most of the contact mission.

if you played back in 2013-2014 before heists came out you must have enjoyed the old Covetedx16 /Potshot x16 playlists.

That took like 5 minutes to complete and after 16 rounds you could get $250K+30K RP in an hour and a half,

Right now get a Hydra/Savage and do L.S. Connection solo or take some of your friends. Doing solo will maximise RP earned from kills

I grind Holed Up Burton and Death from Above, two quickest missions and most pay back. Also try the Blow Up Missions, Diamonds are for Trevor. I found mixed up coke interesting if you play it for 15 mins, what I do is place two proximities where the last 2 trucks spawn so I don't have to chase them, then take my time to deal with the enemies by the first two trucks and then blow them up .. two people can get you pretty decent pay.

I noticed it too but I don't think that the Armored Kuruma is really necessary for that mission.

15 Minutes wait? That's long... I might fall a

I agree with joining heist set up missions but I noticed that most players don't know how to play them or give up too easily. The worst is that they're ranked at over 100 to 150. I still wonder how it's possible. I joined the prison break heist finale yesterday as the prison officer. The difficulty level was at normal. I thought it would be easy peasy for the pilot as he was ranked 250+ but he kept crashing the Velum. We were almost escaping from the prison but the pilot left after 4 crashes. I was the pilot already 2 times and haven't failed yet. I'm ranked 56 :/

a bunch of people working titan of a job and los santos connection usually suits me well.

Yes and I'm one of them doing the titan job one. Fairly easy when the players aren't in a rush to take the plane :panic:

If you have a Hydra, annd a pair of braincells to rub together, Extradition, IMO. No need to leave the jet, save for long enough to grab the package. Do a VIP headhunter/sightseer (headhunter being the fastest and easiest with said hydra/savage), hop into the mission, call your hydra. Pick it up, blow up the titan and the limo, fly around until you ditch the cops. Grab the bag, and go to madrazo's house. I think the best timing might be to drive there at the end, just to eat up the timing for the VIP in the end. It's not the BEST paying job, but it's really hard to fail it, unless you f*ck up either strafing run really badly.

Short ones in wich you dont need to waste ammo and are easy to complete...

Simeon ftw :p

If you grind missions only...a buzzard will be a great investment if you dont have that already

If you want to make the most money just play the missions and try not to finish in less than 4m. Waiting 15m is only a useful strategy if you want to idle, and still pays less.

Blow Up.

You only need to keep the 4:11 mark to get payment of 9600 dollar, time under this will get you 7200 dollar.

Do whatever you want in meantime, i lift a dumbbell 3x15 each hand.

Thank you for the tip :^: now I realise the wait for 15 mins which pays like 15-20K can be easily covered I can do this 4 times to make like 40k on Blow Up mission. :)

VIP mission sightseer nets 23k a pop and can be done pretty quickly. Can get 100k-200k an hour.

No loading screens and can be done in an empty or semi-full lobby.

The payout system means that the difference between grinding one mission over and over and just playing the best (highest level) one from the vote screen is tiny, over time.

Plus 30% bonus for 4 players in the mission.

To everyone saying Rooftop Rumble...just stop. It pays the same $12-$16k with 4 people on hard that most other missions pay. It might have been a cash cow in the past, but it hasn't paid anything more than others in at least 18 months

This is my go-to mission. Same method as you, although once I lose my wanted level I'll parachute down to the briefcase. As long as your Hydra flies into the ocean it won't signal the cops. The winding roads are also how I test out my new cars and off-roaders. This method also prevents those stupid police planes from taking off.

Payout is $21k/18.9k/16.7k for the top three time tiers. Other than LSC, which you will invariably have to use your own ammo on, it's the best paying solo mission
