But I used to listen to this throughout highschool and it reminds me of those simpler times back then. Hadn't had my heart broken yet, hadn't lost any friends or family yet, just a tender age listening to the Smashing Pumpkins in class when I should be doing my work. Those were good times and I look back on them fondly whenever I hear this or any song from Mellon Collie. LeakyLine and Lioshenka

sejoki
There are many others, but feels like I just can’t take no more just fits so well into the vibe of liberty city. Vice City: Crockett’s Theme (makes me think of flying over Vice City as the sun sets) San Andreas: two tickets to paradise LCS: 15 ways - Drive VCS: I want to know what love is GTA IV: Jil Scott - Golden (although pretty much the entire Vibe station has some sentimental value) GTA V: Kenny Loggins - I’m free ChengizVlad09
Lioshenka
Okay, posting first, reading the topic second: - "Push it to the limit" and the whole of Rise FM from GTA III. Each song reminds me of the game AND the time it was written in, very touching and nostalgic. - "I love a rainy night" and "Ring my bell" are probably the most nostalgic that go so well with the game setting that the link has forever has embedded in my brain. But honestly the whole stations K-DST, K-JAH and K-ROSE. What an amazing selection of songs. Keano
GTA 1's Main Theme, though it does appear in a few games in various forms. GTA 2's songs are all pretty good but just nice, not really giving a strong feeling sort of thing. GTA III: - Lucy "Forever" - April's in Paris "Feels Like I Can't Just Take No More" - Amy Holland "She's on Fire" (though I know all of these songs from Scarface as I got older) - Debbie Harry "Rush Rush" (also Scarface) - The game's main theme is amazing, one of the best in the series GTA Vice City - Toto "Africa" - INXS "Kiss The Dirt" - Laura Brannigan "Self Control" - Flock of Seagulls "I Ran So Far Away" - Cutting Crew "Just Died in Your Arms" - Blondie "Atomic" - The ending theme...that just hits me everytime GTA San Andreas - Guns N' Roses "Welcome To The Jungle" - Heart "Baracuda" - Rod Stewart "Young Turks" - Living Color "Cult of Personality" - Jerry Reed "Amos Moses" - Juice Newton "Queen of Hearts" - Lynyrd Skynyrd "Free Bird" (If I could say this 10 times, I would) - Billy Idol "White Wedding" - The Who "Eminence Front" ...There's too many for San Andreas GTA: LCS - Rudy La Fontane "Funk in Time" - Conor and Jane "Train - The Main Theme - Double Clef FM - Ultra Nate "Free" - Moloko "Sing it Back" GTA: VCS - Philip Oakley & Giorgio Moroder "Electric Dreams" - Blondie "Heart of Glass" - The Human League "Love Action" - Foreigner "I Want To Know What Love Is" - Phil Collins "In The Air Tonight"/"Easy Lover" GTA IV: - Smashing Pumpkins "1979" - Heart "Straight On" - Queen "One Vision" - Hello "New York Groove - ELO "Evil Woman" I really started to know what music I liked by the time GTA V came around and knew a lot of the songs of the main stations I listen to but a few stand out - Willie Nelson "Whiskey River" - Highwaymen "Highwayman" - Chaingang of 1974 "Sleepwalking" (the best game exclusive song produced in my opinion)

Patrizio
This topic makes me realise just how good SA's soundtrack was. VC is easily the best, but SA is a still a strong challenger. Some from III:

Seriously, I didn't even know that madhouse and raining blood were even separate songs the first time I heard it. It was just the best music, especially if you get in a golf cart and then just go completely crazy in the entrance to the leaf links golf course, just running into walls and driving in circles. K-DST is definitely a close second, and if I were to choose any single song from any radio station, I really liked L7's Pretend We're Dead. Makes me wonder what sadsack they got for Los Santos Rock Radio, since every song there sounds like an old man reminiscing about his childhood in a wistful manner that totally goes against the violent and stupid fun that GTA stands for. I know I'm quoting this four years later... but its so true. Just HOW did they get VC and SA's soundtrack so right (with an honourable mention to III) and V's (and to an extent IV's) so wrong? Whenever I think of GTA nostalgia I think of III's unknowns and VC's 80s classics. I often forget just how good SA's KDST and Radio X were (among others).
