I'm sorry.

It has happened to me twice. Let me know how you feel the second time it happens.

Both times it happened to me it was not from other players trying to destroy it.

First time was a guy who didn't know how to fly and crashed the plane. He was upper level 100's (this should let you known that I don't think you're playing with a true, safe expert until you get someone near level 500 legit, generally). People are so terrible at this game that it stuns me.

The second time a level 300+ (former friend of mine) repeatedly fired missiles at the enemy NPC jetskis surrounding my tugboat until he exploded it.

The CEO has to be on the mic with people listening. You have to use off radar and ghost organization repeatedly. You need 1-3 associates in Hydras for the duration of the sale. You need to call Lester to remove wanted levels as often as possible. You need to be in a safe session. Your associates should not have a K/DR below 1.0. Equip armor, have full health, full ammo, and full snacks. Have a bulletproof helmet on.

Do not step into a cargo carrier and set off the signal until everyone is in position. Press pause as often as is safely possible and tap down on the dpad as often as possible to see who is coming for you. Go after helicopters and jets aggressively but make sure one associate stays with the cargo.

If you don't do all of these things, you might be insane.

There is nothing more serious and hardcore than a 111 crate sale in all of GTAO. It is the Holy Grail of income earning and serious, businesslike gameplay.

Always delete any friend who ever destroys a 111 crate cargo shipment and never trust him with anything ever again.

I suggest lagging out a session until it is just you and your associates. Even then, you still might screw it up.

Good luck next time. I feel for you.

I blew up my friends tugboatwith my Hydra the other day when he was selling his goods. He lost all his stock 55crates worth a. Total of 1 million dollars. Now i am in indentured servitude to him until I restock all 55 crates

I would never do a drop off with randoms. It's too risky. I only work with the best.

If you get a sell mission that you don't like or it looks like sh*t is about to hit the fan, you can join a new session which will end the current mission.

You'll lose 3 crates but that's much better than 111.

You can do this up to what point? Like, can you do that half way through the sale?

Glad I read this thread. I'm still in the process of filling up my first warehouse. Good to know I need to start small and have support instead of going solo.

1 player is mentally disabled suicide.

2 players is proud jagoff material.

3 players is risky.

4 players is professional.

I think you may have a short career as a Russian roulette player if you insist on playing with less than 4 players during sales.

I've done 2 players before, we got 3 brickades to drive about 2 miles, I just drove them halfway and drove back for the others whilst my mate picked them up from the halfway point and took them to finish then came back for another at halfway point.

Did it twice sucessfully so far...

I've done stupid crap like that before too, and got lucky and succeeded.

It's one hell of a roll of the dice to hope for the Brickades though.

But no more sir, no more.

What is this "whilst" thing? Is that old English?

Did it twice sucessfully so far...Just because it CAN be done, doesn't necessarily mean it SHOULD be done. Obviously it's easier if it isn't your first rodeo. Going in blind isn't a good idea.

I know you wasn't saying it isn't possible, but it's easier than it sounds. Just find a lobby where you haven't started any "beef" with anyone.

Maybe. So far I've done 2 full medium warehouses, both were titan drops and completed solo with no problems.

Are you going to continue to put three bullets in the chambers and play like Christopher Walken in The Deer Hunter?

Use help from friends. That's what they're for. I don't want you to rue the day...

I've had two 111 crate sale successes and two failures. And several other successful smaller shipments.

Maybe once you drop a 111 crate load you will be more careful. But play with fire. I know it is fun.

I would too, but the risk is not worth the money. I think its a 1% increase for each CEO in your sessiom, or so I have read.

Don't think that's it, I always get over 200k with a medium warehouse for being in a lobby with over 25 players, and my mate gets 500k for his large warehouse. I've never payed attention to the amount of ceos.

We Are Ninja

I did my first sell, 111 crates, alone. It was in a non-upgraded Titan. Had to stay below police radar level, but I wasn't met with any NPC resistance. What's more, I bellyflopped the on the edge of a cliff AND gave a crane a love tap and still completed the sale.

On my second run, after reading horror stories, I brought backup for selling the contents of my medium warehouse. It was awesome. I had a live audience as I flew through the red smoke and directly into a f*cking antenna-thing waiting on the other side. $740K went up in an enormous fireball. It was glorious.

Don't take it to heart, bro. Sales are hit or miss.

Naive, arrogant or just a plain dickhead?

Your thread didn't make me feel happy though, as it could happen to any of us.

EDIT:
The other evening I helped a friend with a delivery and ploughed the Cuban 800 into a crane. He didn't lose that much, but I felt mildly embarrassed and have taken plenty of flak over it. And I voluntarily repaid the debt by doing VIP missions, helping to collect more crates and selling cars to repay the lost cash.

Sure, it's just a video game, but I'm here to make cash for myself and others.

I hit that same tower in my titan delivered a large warehouse solo. Fortunately I'd upgraded my delivery vehicle beforehand so the titan didn't blow up when it hit the tower. It just got stuck on it. I pulled the ethernet cable out of the back of the PS4 before it had a chance to blow up. Logged back in afterwards and I didn't lose a single crate so I was rather lucky.

But

but

but

that's NOT FAIR!!

I should be able to bebop around delivering my 111 crates on a faggio in my pajamas with no associates. I'm not a professional gamer!! WAH

Seriously though, you probably summed it up. Doing a full 111 crate run should be the single hardest thing to accomplish (apart from mastermind) and demand that appropriate measures be taken to ensure success and even with those measures taken, there still be a good chance of failure.

One thing though, I thought you could not deliver crates if no one else was in the public lobby?

Reason I say this is because on the first day of the update, the public lobby I was in dumped and left me alone, so I decided to take the opportunity to deliver the 6 or 8 crates I had collected so far. I started the delivery from the warehouse laptop fine, but the moment I reached the waypoint on the map for delivery the game crashed, straight to blue PS4 error report screen. I presumed this meant that you could not deliver unless someone was in the lobby with you that was not in your organization.

I wouldn't go that extreme.

1-player is certainly "DANGER ZONE!" Even in a private lobby, but most of the 10 sell-scenarios are still doable

2-players is risky, but if the lobby is bare one can handle the NPCs (if any) while the other delivers; even with 2-3 vehicles

3-players is ideal unless there are more than 18 players in the lobby or more than 1 Hydra warrior with an express desire to F-up people's days*

4-players is a little excessive. The sell-scenarios can all be done with 3 players unless the associates are non-veterans with Buzzards, less-than-fully-competent, or are just unlucky. They all get paid a pittance, anyway.

*= Reading the lobby is more important than associates, IMO. While the attacking NPCs are aimbot b*stards, their actions are still scripted and they lack evasion skills. Players can be far more of a threat to a delivery with their skills, better weapons and vehicles, and can just respawn if you kill them and attack again. In short, if the lobby is even slightly hostile to CEO work, find another one before risking a delivery.

Solo-deliveries with the Titan have been done by players that use a Buzzard to fly out and shoot down the opposition first, then go back for the plane.
