Just lost 111 crates

So I did my first delivery mission and it was the titan drop off one. It said to press this leftward arrow key to make the drop when above the drop point but I do not know what key this is on my keyboard. I kept flying over the first drop point and pressing every key I could but nothing seemed to work. Parked the titan so I could go look it up online but when I maximized my game again, the titan blew up somehow. This is frustrating. Can someone please tell me what key to press to make drops in a plane?

It's the arrow key.. like the arrows up down left and right

Great for some reason I didnt think it was the arrow keys because the picture showed a large button so I thought it was Backspace or Tab. If only I knew.

I had the same problem the first time I had to drop the goods with the Cuban.

Damn, did you lose your crates?

If you get a sell mission that you don't like or it looks like sh*t is about to hit the fan, you can join a new session which will end the current mission.

You'll lose 3 crates but that's much better than 111.

is on his first delivery run

decides to go full risk with 111 crates.

was that a "one plane" mission? u would have died anyway, there are enemy attack choppers that will take you down...

What kind of helicopters, the homing missile or goons with MGs one?

I think it was a one plane mission. It just told me to get in the titan and there were a bunch of yellow drop points on the map.

sometimes there's no resistance on that mission sometimes there is. I did one just like that 20 mins ago and there was no problem. Selling 111 crates alone isn't the best idea at first though.

Anyways, It's the same button as turning on/off headlights.

You usually get a valkyrie spawn and the 2 miniguns will just mow you down.

Besides, why do you go full risk and use a full large warehouse as your first ever delivery?

And lol at you not finding the arrow key.

Yeah, don't attempt selling runs of that size on your own dude. You're gonna have a bad time.

I had a titan delivery mission 3 or 4 times with 5 dropzones and I was never attacked by enemy choppers.

Dude, ALWAYS DO A TRIAL RUN. I'm sorry if this comes off as dickish but uh, this one's on you.

I sympathize with your loss, truly. That's hours of work gone and it sucks.

However - why is it that two different PC users have had this same issue now? There's a left-facing arrow key on your keyboard.

You should have prob looked that up before you did the cargo run and also maybe ran a couple smaller runs first to get the hang of things.

Same. I did a 10 drop run last night and nothing attacked me. I wonder what determines if there are attack choppers or not.

^ Probably random but there's a "every type of buy mission" thread somewhere where you can post what Sell missions you get, see if we can reverse engineer it.

I did a Cuban one with no NPCs and no altitude restriction. I think they just add them randomly and sometimes you get lucky.

Man .... I'm sorry to hear that.

We've all at some point lost serious progress before (one time I lost my 99% complete San Andreas game save), so I feel for you.

Glad I read this thread. I'm still in the process of filling up my first warehouse. Good to know I need to start small and have support instead of going solo.

Blasterman4EVER

I'm sorry.

It has happened to me twice. Let me know how you feel the second time it happens.

Both times it happened to me it was not from other players trying to destroy it.

First time was a guy who didn't know how to fly and crashed the plane. He was upper level 100's (this should let you known that I don't think you're playing with a true, safe expert until you get someone near level 500 legit, generally). People are so terrible at this game that it stuns me.

The second time a level 300+ (former friend of mine) repeatedly fired missiles at the enemy NPC jetskis surrounding my tugboat until he exploded it.

The CEO has to be on the mic with people listening. You have to use off radar and ghost organization repeatedly. You need 1-3 associates in Hydras for the duration of the sale. You need to call Lester to remove wanted levels as often as possible. You need to be in a safe session. Your associates should not have a K/DR below 1.0. Equip armor, have full health, full ammo, and full snacks. Have a bulletproof helmet on.

Do not step into a cargo carrier and set off the signal until everyone is in position. Press pause as often as is safely possible and tap down on the dpad as often as possible to see who is coming for you. Go after helicopters and jets aggressively but make sure one associate stays with the cargo.

If you don't do all of these things, you might be insane.

There is nothing more serious and hardcore than a 111 crate sale in all of GTAO. It is the Holy Grail of income earning and serious, businesslike gameplay.

Always delete any friend who ever destroys a 111 crate cargo shipment and never trust him with anything ever again.

I suggest lagging out a session until it is just you and your associates. Even then, you still might screw it up.

Good luck next time. I feel for you.

You don't need to start off small, grab some friends and look at what missions you could possibly get. I have a list of buying runs and selling runs if you want to look through them.
