Should I buy an Office or a Yacht?

The only time I've been on my yatch since the last DLC was when I crashed my helicopter in the ocean trying to get special cargo. I called Merryweather for a boat pickup, drove to my yacht and flew off in my volito. The office is a game changer, much more than the yatch ever was. However, seeing my yatch from my office window is super duper and is my own no fly zone in los Santos, which is priceless.

At this point the yacht is just a status symbol. What that status is, is determinant from player to player.

I've been grinding my butt off and was just wondering which is a better investment. I don't have enough for either however, it helps me to know what I'm working towards. If it's the office then what's the best one to buy? Is it worth it to buy the most expensive office? What's the difference between them all? It's a buttload of money and I want to make the most out of my money once I reach my goal.

I don't regard buying either. If you want to make rp and money I suggest a cheap office to start off with.

I grabbed my keyboard so I could answer this properly.I had 46 million a few weeks ago, I then bought the half price yatch which brought me down to 41. The when the update arrived I bought the FMJ and wasted a bit on finding the right office and warehouses. I ended up the Arcadius and the large warehouses at (across the road from unit 2) and the one in shambles street. I could have changed the shambles street warehouse for one more central but because it gives me a straight overflight to the Hydra spawn on the way back to the office I've kept it. Anyway after all that messing around I was down to 31 million. I wasn't especially concerned because by then I'd seen the potential solo crating could give. Now a couple weeks later not playing much at all, just a couple/few hours at night I'm back to 39 million. In two more weeks I expect to have paid for all my update stuff plus the yatch. So I would definitly reccomend getting the office and two large warehouses when you can afford them. After that you wont need to worry about money again and you can write off that initial purchase as an investment. I haven't yet had a sales mission where I really needed help but jolly has been with me just to be sure. For the rest of the time I've set my MTU low so that I'm always solo while collecting crates. I practically have always played this game solo other that racing and heists so I'm fine with that.

No regret for me, at least. I love my yacht. Just that the office is the better option for the "less than filthy rich" OP.

No brainer. I love my yacht but aside from occasionally running Piracy Prevention, it's mostly for show and to have a different place to hang out. The office is just as cool of a living space and also adds tons of content & a way to make the money back (slowly).

 

Buy the office; use it to make money to buy the yacht. I've already made half a low-end yacht worth of profit from my office.

Agreed, no regret from me. But if you are counting pennies, go with the office first so you can have a money making avenue while you prepare for the Yacht which is, totally awesome.
