Should I buy an Office or a Yacht?

Office.

 

The ability to turn CEO (VIP) on and off at will even without the 1M in the bank, the ability to customize your weaponwheel loadout (With the 500K option) are worth it by itself. Another benefit is the green juice actually heals you and you can fill up on snacks without haveing to go to 3-5 stores. Plus the office only costs $300 (Assistant pay) a day versus the $1150 a yacht costs. Plus the ability to land on the helipad and duck the cops makes life easier when you have a 3+ star wanted level.

 

Really the only thing yachts have going for them are the piracy protection vip job ($30,000), the ability to move ($25,000 per move) if you don't like the neighborhood and access to the heli/boats. Unfortunately they are not Pegasus callable though.

How about both? Granted you can't really do anything with the yacht and the captain is a prick and will never leave your boat where you paid an insane amount of money to move it to. But still it's pretty sweet.

Yachts are a lifestyle, not moneymaking (aside from Piracy Prevention, but that's minor).

Strive to own both, but first get a cheap office and the cheapest large warehouse and they can help you make money to eventually buy a yacht.

By an office and a warehouse, in a week's time you will then have enough loot to buy the yacht.

 

Buy the yacht... and... it's cool to hang out it, but makes zero money and has rather high upkeep costs.

Just like in real life, you need to put in time at the office before you can afford a nice toy like a yacht with SAM missiles. Therefore, get the office and you'll have a yacht in no time if you work hard

Get the office. The office will pay for the yacht later.

 

Even if you are not interested in CEO works (buy\sell), the office will remove the limitations from VIP work. (no $1m minimum, no 4 hours limit & no 12 hours cool down) ... Just get an office.

 

All offices are the same, you are only paying for the view. Get Maze West Office for $1M ... As for the office customizations, ignore them for now ... You always renovate & add the safe, locker & private quarters.

Actually, it does spawn there.

 

And when it doesn't you can jump off and parachute down (quickly and easily with no building parts getting in the way) to get to it.

There are 4-5 spawn spots for the Buzzard at ground level. One of them is a troll spot, but if it's there I just parachute to the big intersection just a little to the east and re-call for it.

in all fairness the buzzard dont seem to spawn on the rooftop of any office unless you pay 1k while using the "leave on vehicle" option

 

I go to the roof, call in for the Buzzard which always spawns on the street below, grab the free parachute that's up on the roof next to me, and enjoy the ride down!

 

It takes an extra 39 seconds, but I love the glide down, so it's no biggie for me.

im on maze tower and the buzzard sometimes spawn in front of the building, most times spawn under the overpass haha but never on the rooftop.

 

also if while close to the rooftop you use the "land and enter office" feature the buzzard would not stay on the rooftop, would despawn after the landing cutscene, but if you use that same feature with any pegasus helicopter, it would stay on the rooftop.

 

im sure they would fix this stuff later

Well imo the office has more value for the buck mainly cause it gives you extra jobs and unlimited vip time and a GUNLOCKER(if you pay extra) The downside is those jobs pay sh*t.

 

The Yacht gives a free chopper n boats on the more expensive models along with the option for Piracy Prevention.

 

If you had to choose id go for the office cause its allot cheaper. But imo none of the 2 are worth their money. Both are overpriced items.(Allthough 1mil HQ aint 2 bad) And that gunlocker is prolly worth 1.3mil alone lol

 

For money making im sticking to invite only session vip work eventhough I got a 6mil office with a warehouse. And I hardly use the Yacht anymore or its vehicles apart from starting Piracy.

She gets paid more than my Mechanic and he has to maintain and repair nearly 50 (100!) cars for me. She has... snacks; and tells me about things I can see for myself.

Office, hands down. It gives you many useful features like the gun locker, free snacks, access to all personal vehicles from inside, and a few other things. The yacht really offers very few useful features, and also costs a lot more.

 

Honestly, just get the cheapest one. Especially since you can't afford one yet, my guess is there are many other nice purchases you have not yet acquired, and the several million extra simply isn't worth it for a slightly better view. Also it is kind of a pain in the ass having to go all the way up to the top of maze bank tower to land. My other character just has the cheapest one and honestly i like it a lot better.

Considering the price of the yacht it should have had the office included and been accessible for a smaller fee but the bean counters at R* would have freaked at the loss of revenue and reminded the board that profits top pleasure where players are concerned.

Heists are still a more efficient way to make money than moving cargo though unfortunately.

It does spawn if you previously landed with it in the roof.

 

Plus it spawn wherever you want through the interaction menu.

 

Well, if you call it from roof it will land in the road but you can parasute quickly and hop on

I have both but if you are a new guy then get the Office first for the jobs as my yacht serves as a spawn point where I can bring my gun out easily on the yacht compared to an apartment

Yacht - Access a small area downstairs with a bedroom and upstairs is a bar with only you in there. When you spawn there you need to fly your helicopter over to land.

 

Office - Access to a whole apartment and a special computer that gives you jobs to earn millions. You get free snacks from the desk, you can recover an impounded vehicle, leave from a choice of 50 cars or over 20+ air vehicles.

 

So for like half the price you can get more. The Yacht has nothing on it worth using apart from the indoors incase 'you wanna change clothes' haha.

I'd go with the office, in my opinion it has more content and is more enjoyable, both in missions/activities and in other features, such as the ability to spawn personal vehicles and pegasus vehicles just outside the office. The office also has the Gun Safe for custom weapon loadouts.

The helicopters stay spawned on helipad if you manually land. If not then you have to pay for a roof delivery.

The office gives you more things to do and probably better value for money. A yacht is really just to hang out on. It's cool for a while but gets boring very quickly. And they aren't cheap.

I've been grinding my butt off and was just wondering which is a better investment. I don't have enough for either however, it helps me to know what I'm working towards. If it's the office then what's the best one to buy? Is it worth it to buy the most expensive office? What's the difference between them all? It's a buttload of money and I want to make the most out of my money once I reach my goal.

Before F&F, I could kinda see the appeal of a yacht and was considering the investment should R* ever decide to do a sale on the Pisces...

 

But now Offices look like they do everything a yacht does -and more- so all of a sudden yachts seem ridiculous again.
