For Red Dead 2, I hope Rockstar will bring some awesome outfits for the game. I want this black outfit from Westworld.

for RDR2 i would like to see the gore from manhunt implemented. From a look at the trailer you can clearly see the vultures pecking a hole into that dog. Personally i would love to see intense gore for RDR2. Also i would like to see for RDROnline, a totally new experience, something never seen or maybe utilized from R* before. Though i do feel some features should return from RDR but in a whole new way. You know with rockstar, if fans can think of it Rockstargames are usually 2 steps ahead. im too excited been ages

One more thing I'd like to see is the return of treasure hunting.

One of the best features of the last game were the obscure treasure maps that you just had to figure out from what you'd seen in the game world.

I wanna be able to run places like bars, brothels etc. I also want to rob people in the wild or break in to their houses.. I think you could do that in RDR.

Cloth physics. Seriously Rockstar, it's <current year> now. Come on.

with rockstargames GTA's are the adopted children, They love them like their own. but with Red Dead's, they are the biological child that gets whatever he wants and all the attention. i doubt they will leave that out the deal.

I hope it has passive lobbies instead of passive mode its needs to be 2 split modes otherwise it enables combat trolls.

On a more serious tone, please let us have the body physics that Red Dead Redemption always had. They always gave a more brutal tone to the game. Something about shooting someone in the head and watching them twitch and stand before falling over dead was grotesquely awesome.

I'm not sure if somebody already mentioned this but one thing I hope they bring back is the weapon holstering system like the one we had in RDR 1. It's kind of cool and realistic/authentic to actually see the weapons you are carrying on you. I know in GTA they just magically appear when you select it from the weapon wheel but I prefer RDR 1's holstering system.

I wanna see random "double" hangings throughout the vast and atmospheric open-world. Random events were pretty neat in Red Dead Redemption but in Red Dead Redemption 2 I wanna see Rockstar up the ante.

That's not the Explosive Rifle dude. For 1.) You can't dead-eye multiple "X" targets using the explosive rifle (you can only dead-eye once). and 2.) When you shoot at either a person or animal they explode in chunks. That's an iconic glitch with a repeater type weapon.

i think its safe to say that the vast majority of things that were implemented in RDR1, will be added again but R* will more than likely up the ante. RDR1 has its own niche, with the combination of the NMEngine i think rockstar were able to push it to the limit. Actually, if you played RDR1 u can see the Rockstar Editor at work. Also, you can see the ideal & other animations from RDR1 used in GTAV. I think R* San Diego/Red Dead work stands alone with the other development teams. Features, controls from Rdr never made it to the ANY other game, so i think its safe to say those features that made RDR great will stick around for Part 2.

Yeah some decent cloth physics with all those big wild west coats would be really cool.

I hate being targeted for no reason, so I don't think blips should be visible to every one. You should only be able to see blips of other people in the posse, if posses return.

This is a must, i´m sure R* will improve this. I love the physics and gore.

The Time Ranger

Random events and easter eggs inspired by famous western scenes from movies. Coming across a three way duel like in The Good, The Bad and the Ugly for example. Unique weapons and clothing inspired by famous characters, like Clint Eastwood's poncho and snake grip revolver from the same movie. Maybe you come across a grizzled one eyed US marshall, just like John Wayne in True Grit. A few nods to the western genre would be cool.

This comes to mind as I liked the No Country For Old Men easter egg in V, coming across the vehicles with the dead gangsters around them with the bag of cash was a cool reference.

A Harmonica. Usable for sh**s and giggles or maybe an NPC using one playing it outside of a saloon sitting in a chair or something.

I want the option to be a sheriff, John had sherriff badges on a attire pre-release. Shame he doesn't in the game.

Like, i want to be the f*cking law man.

Even if this came out today these physics would be really impressive.

If they don't add swimming I at least hope they make it so our protag automatically pulls himself out of water if he falls in, off the top of my head I remember Spiderman 2 doing that whenever you landed in water, and that was on open-world game back on the PS2/Xbox... even Max Payne 3 has a similar mechanic in the docks and Panama levels, and Rockstar made that game obviously, so there's no excuse, really. Anything's better than cheap deaths.

Okay I want a hot, yet modifiable character, like that you can change their hair and clothes and whatever.

Also, I thought RDR was a little too modern. I want the OLD, OLD west, like 1800's.

Honestly, I trust Rockstar and I'm sure that whatever they cook up will be fantastic.

The ability to buy a homestead with a paddock to keep all my broken-in horse breeds, and a farm cat.

Seriously, I'm not asking for much... ;_;

I love the gambling. It would be pretty badass if there were some side missions opened up in relation to your gambling skill (or lack thereof). People in the gambling houses could treat you with a certain demeanor, comps on the house, courteous, or discourteous discourse, etc. Abuse of saving/never losing, or getting caught cheating mid-game, could and should get you beat up, and banned for life, from those running these establishments.

Panning for gold.

Spelunking with with tawdry rope, etc. Maybe crafting (or having better equipment crafted) out of animal pelt yields bigger bags, longer and more sturdy rope, that allows for greater exploration of a vast network of an underground cavern. Lighting, swimming, grappling skill, mystery, sanctuary, hunting/gathering, befriending, maybe some horror, all the while, that protagonist gets whiter and more sensitive to light, while spinning a nod to Plato's "allegory of a cave", would be pretty cool.

Learning how to read. Written words should be indistinguishable, until one convinces a (very hawt and kinda geeky) schoolteacher to help learn how to read. After some side games and smashing on her, your ability to peruse opens some doors in the game.

Panhandling.

Different ways of butchering your kills leads to different items to take. Better knives lead to better spoils.

My two main wishes are that single player isn't compromised at all in favour of Online and that the two fellas responsible for Redemption's amazing score return to work on the next one.

Woody Jackson has to be back.. He just has to be
