You're Stuck In LS Forever – What Job Do You Get?

So, you're playing GTAO one afternoon or evening, having fun, when suddenly, in a science fiction twist of warped reality, you suddenly find yourself IN the game!

That's right – BLIFFO!!! – you're in the center of downtown Los Santos, looking exactly like your character in the game.

Unfortunately, you don't have a car because Rockstar took them all away from you.

The only money in your pocket is the $2,000 you got from being a "Good Sport" earlier in the day.

Your phone still has all the Mission contacts, but when you call them, they don't have a clue who you are and threaten you, should you call back again.

It's getting late and there's really not a lot of options at this point, so you need to find a place to crash for the night and start fresh in the morning.

Everything in Los Santos functions exactly as it does in the game, so if you start acting crazy or flip out, NPCs will scatter, screaming.

Break the law, and the LSPD are going to come out of nowhere and take you down – except, there's no respawn this time!

The only way out of this nightmare is to simply accept your situation and get on with living your new life.

You're going to need a lot of things – clothes, food, shelter, transportation, etc.

And you're going to need a job... What job would you get, first?

I guess I'd crash at one of my houses, if we didn't have them, I'd go to paleto bay and setup camp in the room above the chicken factory.

I went with Yacht Captain. It's one of the few professions on there with 0% chance of death, plus I get control of the AA button and pilot the magical teleporting boat.

There's also the bartender downstairs and those unused bedrooms...

A couple of flaws, here:

 

1. you forgot about the two week waiting period on weapons purchases.

3. & 4. Lester may have you killed just for showing up. Even if you did convince him...

Awesome thread man! I went with Ammunation specialist as I am an avid fan of weaponry and got knowledge and experience. But to be honest, should I be in that world I wouldn't choose a job and stay there, I'd try to get involved in the criminal underworld like my character did, not caring if I lived or died.
