OP, did you even play Online when it first came out?? The mission payouts were anywhere from $500-$9000, you were lucky if you got a $17000-$21000 payout but only higher ranking missions gave you that money. I remember it took me forever to buy my first two car garage. If I started a new character now, and didn't bank my first character's cash, I could easily make enough money in less than a few hours to get low-mid range property.
