If Rockstar went back to the original payouts from races and missions when the game first came out before shortening it then, there probably woouldn't be so many money gltches and there'll be a lot more people playing. I remember we had the Eclipse Towers and Adder within a week with only a few hours a day of gameplay. Do y'all think Rockstar will ever bring back the original payouts?

You can make a lot still, a large warehouse a day, 2.2 mil in about 7(?) hours. I would prefer the original payouts so more people would play captured and deathmatches etc.

What were the original payouts for Deathmatches?

Survivals was $20k right? some missions paid terribly, I think ATV steal was $1,500.

I wish they would, but really doubt they will, even towards the end of GTA Online. Too many other more profitable gamemodes seemingly gutted the race lobbies. Used to race for hours on end, and now been struggling to find a race for the past year! When its double money race weekend event, lobbies fill up fast, reminds me of the old days. Wish rockstar would notice that data and maybe come to the conclusion of 'hmm, more money payouts equals more active players'

Back then it was a struggle unless you had rooftop rumble, I mean you got $500 dollars for completing deal breaker.

There wouldn;t be as many shark cards sold either and that is the ONLY thing C* cares about.

No, there was no struggle, payouts were greater.

Quit with the C* thing. You play the game and hate the game? Sounds like R* is your daddy and your R*s bitch..

No, there was no struggle, payouts were greater.Payouts were sh*t in the beginning, they got buffed in 2014 and nerfed at the end of 2014 or early '15.

Some missions paid awesomely. Rooftop rumble paid 25k each and every time

Then they got nerfed by making it full price after first go at mission then half pay replaying it

Then they went with the current "longer you play the more you pay" scenario

That was when they was cut by 50% the original was way more than that.

No. In some cases the payouts are better in races. Before you could do one lap and get 17k for first place. Now you get 27k for 8+ laps.

That ruined the entire game for me when they fixed the payouts. Thank god for glitches.

The 20 sec Violent Duct rewards you $9000 every time, this mission helped me a lot before I leveled up enough to play the Parking Garage (Which ends with one shot grenade launcher) and Rooftop Rumble, also the Mixed up with coke pays well, too.

I remember violet duct being the real money maker back then, until rooftop rumble came along with the glitched objective. But yes money still was a struggle back then mainly because there were like four missions that paid really good but it just wasn't very fun. I like the new mission payouts better because you can do most missions and get paid a decent amount but the important thing is that it isn't as boring as constantly redoing rooftop rumble. Also who needs missions these days when you have VIP work, they're boring and pay well like rooftop rumble so there's that for the hardcore grinders.

I prefer how payouts are now actually. But I was never one to grind missions, so I can't speak on dollars per minute type of playing.

Double EVERY payout. Solved.

By every, please also includes racing, deathmatch and other modes payout, gives more incentives for people to play.

Would just cause inflation. Doubling payouts would just up the prices of future content by an exponential amount.

while stuff like races, captures and othrr modes could use a bump in the payout, i dont see R* doing any type of change...

payout-wise the game is more balanced now and offer way more profitable opportunities.

No, payouts on high level missions were very good, low level was rubbish as it should be. Overall you could earn much more originally (Much more). Although Heists and solo crates are pretty close now.

Or maybe buff payouts of lower level missions to that of higher level missions? I get paid 6000 for stuff like death metal and violent duct and 15000 for trash talk. Then the madrazo assassination missions are also 7k is but takes less time.

I much preferred the game originally. I had around 50 hardened mission grinder friends originally. I'm the only one still playing, all the others left with the timed mission update. The thing is Rockstar could care less about players that don't need shark cards to survive so they are never going to increase payouts outher than increasing pay for assistants. Even then they will only do that if they can't find a way to stop solo crating.

Some of y'all need to open a window and clear out the haze of nostalgia, it seems to be f*cking with your mind... sure there were a handful of high level missions you could refine to the bare minimum completion time and take advantage of the flat rate payout to make some decent income with the grind but if that's your idea of some kinda lost Golden Age.... well, whatever, keep yearnin', I'll be earnin', and actually enjoying myself....

2.2 mil minus 666k

You could make more money though.

It was a horrible grind, but it did still make more money than it does now, provided you grinded (ground?) the right mission.
