Description The loading screens for VC were originally made for a 4:3 resolution, and quite compressed, causing them to lose some quality. The purpose of this mod is to remake the loading screens in better resolution, respecting the originals as much as possible. For now, the source format (4:3) will be respected. Later I will adapt it for widescreens. Details - All original loading screens (where possible) in better resolution. - Adaptation for widescreens (16:9 | 16:10). But I'd gladly share the ones remade by me with you, even though there are some small problems here and there. ) The main difference with my ones lies in the appearance of the Vice City logo. I was trying to make colors a bit more vivid, so that's how it turned out in the end. By the way, I plan on continuing the project by doing all of the loadscreens from scratch, using released HD character artworks and recreating their backgrounds, so IF you would like to do a complete pack, that has all the Vice City artworks remastered in their original appearance, feel free to ask me for my versions. ) That's all of them for now. The one I'm working on is the Ken Rosenberg one, but as I have already stated, I'm really working from scratch, and doing all background elements by hand, so it takes serious time to finish a more detailed loadscreen. ) Also I'm working on remastering the HUD elements and the menu in general. It is my first foray into this, and I also really somewhat slow, because I'm not very good at handling advanced editing tools. I also will eyedropper in this mod, by the fact that I always try to get the character artwork in high resolution, and without a background. And then start the rest .... I am now half locked, because some characters are not remastered Vice City, and there are others who have a hard bottom to remove (for me). As for the GTA3, it is even more complicated, because I have not gotten artworks in a large (or rather, a huge resolution) resolution. So I will also slow at that. I have a couple of questions, so already come a couple of them. Edit: apart from this, I'm busy with models of Vice City and Liberty City. Turning, and fixing bugs. To be honest, it really is hard to redo all of these from zero because there are really unique background objects and sometimes you have to recreate them line by line, which takes a lot of effort and time to do if you are not an expert in photo editing, art designs, etc.. As for character artworks, I do think that the Vice City characters shown in these loadscreens are all remastered in HD and can be downloaded from Rockstar's site as backgrounds, in different sizes, so that wouldn't be a problem.
