Does anyone know if the musket can be stored in the gun locker? I'm trying to justify buying te gun locker so if I can finally get rid of that stupid musket it will be worth it.

All guns AFAIK, but not all melee weapons.

My Musket, Sweeper, Firework Launcher, and even the Lamar-pistol (with LSPD blue tint) are in my locker.

You can put any and all weapons in the locker that you PURCHASE (including the musket), as well as the default pistol. If you pick up a weapon (melee or gun), or are given it via a mission, without purchasing it, you won't be able to stash it unless you drop it and buy it (provided it's for sale).

EDIT: The pseudo-exception to this I would say are molotovs, although technically you do purchase them, as they are obtained thru ammo drops. They too can be stashed.

Why would you want to store the Musket? The Musket's great.

Dont store the default pistol. Keep it in your inv with no attachments, so you can have a faster easy way out animation.

Its an antique! You don't just whip out a priceless heirloom in the name of some gangsta sh*t... what I really wish is to be able to mount it on the wall behind my desk....

Dude you just solved one of the most annoying puzzles I've come across in this game so far. Thank you!

There is a unique satisfaction of insta-killing a jet-griefer with a Musket, though.

Serves them right for flying that close while angled so I could hit them and not the jet.

Not to derail the thread, but what's the deal with molotovs? Are you saying that every time I call in an ammo drop and say, top up my assault rifle ammo, I get some molotovs on the side too??

I remember getting them out of (special?) crate drops in the old days but I think you would lose them once you left the session. At least this would explain why I seem to have molotovs all the time, haha!

You can store every single weapon except for two melee. The Crowbar and Golf Club, even with Hide All selected they will still appear in your inventory.

I've had them in my inventory for a while, never disappearing. And I got them from collecting regular Merryweather ammo drops (3 per), as I virtually never saw special drops, seeing as 99% of my time is in Crew/Invite Only lobbies all by myself or with one other person.

Can't store the baseball bat (at least I'm not able to) either. All the ones you can't purchase and you must pick up, can't be stored.

If that pos never comes back, please tell me how the F you managed to do it.

I've been trying to get rid of the pos for a very long time and like herpes, it always comes back.

Always.

oleg_aka_djmeg

you have to buy guns before you can hide them in the locker. so go buy guns that npcs use, like mp5 and pump shotgun, hide them in the locker and live happily.

Because they're the 3rd funniest weapon in game, and very useful in missions, you can't buy molotovs.

But you can get 25 in your weapon wheel for free in a GTA Race ;)

http://rsg.ms/26a9405

Drop any molotovs from your wheel

Pick up 8

Collect dropped ones

Repeat

I know it's a bit OT but f*ck R*. Everyone deserves these.

Also, if you care about using the pistol for EWO (ugh), the pistol has to be unsilenced.
