JStarr31
What a game huh!!!! This game is about to reclaim its throne as best game ever and earn the new title of 'Ocarina Killer' I'm going to periodically update this thread... Since it seems there isn't a thread on this game yet... In the meantime if you've seen the new Zelda gameplay trailers feel free to discuss!!! Goldn-Bayse
It's interesting on how they're approaching the game this time around. It doesn't seem like before where we start off in some random village. It looks like Hyrule is isolated and so are we as a player. Maybe as we progress through the game we will uncover more of the story. On a side note, I was not really excited for a new Zelda about a year ago but then I played Wind Waker and Twilight Princess earlier this year so I guess you could say I'm into the series now. Spadeflush
I finally got interested in this game, once they said it will support the pro controller.
Fraizer
I absolutely love the Zelda franchise although I have strayed away from it the last few years, I skipped skyward sword... anyway, breath of the wild has seriously piqued my interest in the series again. I'll be honest, I'm 29 and got the same feeling watching gameplay of this as I did when I read about ocarina of time when I was in middle school. Spadeflush
Watching the gameplay, you can name the inspirations for the game. Like the inventory/character screen looks like it was pulled right out of The Witcher 3, the animation when Link is climbing ladders is definitely inspired by Dark Souls, the camera even follows Link the same way when he climbs. Perhaps we should get that gameplay video in here. I forget which one I watched, it had like 2 white chicks and an Asian in it.

KilnerLUFC
Not even saying this in a bias way, but this game is one of the only games for a while now that has actually peaked my interest, mainly because it's one of the fair few titles that seems to be sticking to its roots. The size of the map alone is enough to conjure up imaginations of what will await you in Hyrule, but the fact they've finally released a trailer showing off some NPC's and villages/towns that feature in the game has sold me this game. Main focus point seems to be the 'two' women that feature in the trailer - At the moment I'm with the ones who suggest it's both Zelda, but in different garments, as we've seen in pretty much other titles, but others suggest it could hint at us playing a female protagonist, or an NPC that helps us in the quest etc. Here's hoping the delay is going to pay off when this game finally lands.
