A suggestion for a fairer change to CEO work and selling.

All these CEO whinging threads should really be in the Bitch and Moan thread or maybe kept to the numerous other threads about peoples unhappiness with the way Rockstar designed the game mode.

if you cannot rely on your teammates for CEO work then how did u do heists and how much money did u not get because of others in heists? the only difference is that u believe its already earned, because u can see the f*cking numbers in your warehouse, but the heist is also only finished when you finish it.

 

so next time your cargo gets destroyed, don't cry out loud in the chat, it will only be more tempting for the others. try to be smart, try not to get into situation u cannot win. when things go right, its all about a little 30 seconds window in which you are in danger because your cargo is all over the map, but before and after? you are just a player like all the others like before the update

I'd say:

 

Make it so cargo can be stolen rather than being destroyed. Stealing would give more money (well, you'd take the cargo for yourself), but the other person can try steal his/her cargo back.

 

Make it so that solo players can pick up all cargo crates at once. Having to go back and forth/needing a crew just to pick up some crates ... It just feels lazy and forced.

 

Make it so the missile jammer can be used solo. This is a big one actually. They could so easily have just put it in the weapon wheel/selection, and let solo players use it by pressing A/X.

 

Overall, the missile jammer is one of the biggest sources of missed potential I've ever seen. Just thinking about what could've been with that makes me feel like this:

While ultimately the fault must lie with you for being such a feckless wuss, a great deal of the blame lies on your parents for raising you so poorly.

I can't exactly join a CEO/VIP group if, you know. I'm the only one there. Then again I just wanted the co-op gameplay, not so much the cash because I'm not exactly poor or anything.

Fair is fair. If any of that money lost was bought with a shark card, the attacker is charged real world cash.

Yes, i also like the intension to bring people together, also rockstar now has a good reason to keep the game cleaner from modders.

 

 

 

 

Implying that being able to sell in-game cash for real money to those who can't cheat it in or get it legit isn't enough incentive? Clearly the whole cheating thing is out of control and R* will never be able to reign it in. If they haven't got control of it by now they never will.

If they can reign in cheaters perhaps, but again, time will tell. They can see exactly who is playing what and how often, and who is buying cash cards and on what they are spending their bought money. I suspect all game design decisions going forward will be entirely based around the shark card profits model. The GTAO community has created a monster by ever buying any of those cards and we're not closing this Pandora's Box.

 

Of course the idea of EVERYTHING happening in the open world is a non starter because of activities like racing, golf, tennis, darts, etc.

 

I can only imagine the try hards in jets strafing the golf course coming in here telling us how skilled they are and we're just pussies who can't handle a challenge.

Are you seriously trying to say someone had bad parents because they're not a professional video game player? How small and sad your world must be to care so much how others play a video game or to tie up so much of your own self worth in how you do.

 

I guess my dad was just a bad guy for coaching my baseball and hockey teams, taking me out to museums and ballgames, teaching me how to shoot and do home repairs, and helping me with school work. He should have been teaching me the value of playing video games to impress people like you later in life.

 

If you really believe that any adult considers this an insult or will lose a wink of sleep over what you think you've got a lot of growing up to do. We are the legion that is splitting sessions and vote kicking tools like you and you still don't get the message that we don't like you, we don't want you around, and we don't care what you think about it.

There were no trolls. The game EXPLICITLY tells everyone else in the lobby when you launch a crate run to go stop you and receive cash, ammo, and RP.

 

You call it trolling, but it is actually called INTENDED GAMEPLAY.

 

Deal with it.

 

 

What makes this doubly stupid, is that you are expecting the contraband system to make you rich. It has been documented and mathematically proven that this is not even close to being the best way to make money, so you shouldn't be trying to rack up millions when it has barely been released for a week.

 

If you need or want GTA$ then you should be doing as many VIP challenges/Work as possible or heists with a set of teammates you can rely on to do them quickly and without error.
