REXX Posted June 15, 2016 Share Posted June 15, 2016 (edited) Sometimes if you are in an invite only session and decide to switch your character, it will sometimes take you out of the invite only session and place you in a public one instead. Found a little and very simple work around which puts you back into your invite only session after changing characters. Simply load up any job. Missions or races are the quickest. Once the job has started simply quit via the phone. Once you are back in your invite only session, switch characters and you'll load straight back into your invite only session. It takes less than a minute and saves having to load up public sessions which can sometimes take a while. I've noticed that usually when I'm outside of my apartment and I fail to join a session/change characters, it usually puts me back in my inv only session instead of putting me in a public one, but I'm not too sure, it seems not to be very consistent, so I'm glad you found this method. kringled Posted June 16, 2016 Share Posted June 16, 2016 My method has always been to run a race/mission from the invite-only session, then after it's complete, vote for return to free mode. The reason I asked is because I ended up in an invite-only session where everyone lagged out. I use races as the jobs and when I quit it like you said above, the game still tries to put me in a public session. The problem mostly occurs when I try to collect the exclusive clothes you get for logging in with both characters. I can switch from my main character to my alternate just fine.
