So I went to my garage to get my Dukes and it wasn't there. When I call the mechanic the car appears on the list but he doesn't bring it when I request it. When I go to rearrange my cars it says 'Downloadable Content Missing' instead of the car. I already contacted Rockstar and they gave me 100k, but it doesn't help because for some reason I can't find the Dukes on the website. Is there a way to get my car back? I don't know but I thought I might ask. I'm on PC by the way.

This is a well known problem.

 

If you requested the car from the mechanic, you have removed the car from your garage completely, when downloadable content missing shows any request for the

car will immediately delete it from your game.

 

This is why Rockstar gave you the money back for what you spent on the car.

 

To reactivate the DLC you will need to unlink/relink your account on the Social Club website, I would also suggest going into your PS4 System Management

options and go to Application Data and delete the GTA V Profile save on your PS4 (nothing is lost), when you next try to log on the game will ask you to login

to social club again and after this it should restore the DLC cars to the in game websites so you can repurchase.

Does relinking your account work? I used to be on PS3 so the Dukes wasn't available there. And also, the car, for some reason, is now in another garage. It appeared on the list when I called the Mechanic, but once again it's nowhere to be found

Yes it should work, I have done that before when I've encountered this error and it has fixed the issue for me.

It worked! Thank you very much. Now one last question: does it really matter if I keep my PSN account linked? Because I wanna unlink it for good but I won't if it means I'll keep losing cars..

Best to keep it linked at all times esp if you are using the Dukes and any other returning player content.
