CEOs: When you see others in Session...

  1. 1. How do you generally deal with other CEOs in Freemode?

    • Peaceful - no need to fight, we're all just trying to make a dollar.

    • Cautious / Defensive - keep those hands where we can see them or there will be consequences.

    • Aggressive - It's WAR, baby! It's either them or me... and it ain't gonna be me.

I always take Chamberlain-like "peace for our session" agreements with a big grain of salt. Like putting on a Utility Vest for a heist, always watch your back. Always. Especially when someone goes off the radar.

Ideally, I'm on the lookout for public sessions with one, maybe a handful, of players--preferably below lvl 100.

That way, I can launch Piracy Prevention and earn $30k while I do IRL stuff like folding laundry (not to mention grabbing free Molotovs or Stickies via weapon pickups later during the cool down). :) The great thing about Piracy Prevention (as most of us probably know) is it doesn't fail like a heist if everyone else leaves the session. So long as you have one person in session to launch it, the $30k is in the bank. :)

But most of the time, I'm just doing Sightseer--as passive as you can get. Headhunter is "meh" in that the Buzzard quickly gets shot to heck (

). So I find other things to do with the cool down periods: spawn/restock Sentinels or Dubsta 2s, search for new weapon pickups, maybe some Daily Objectives... Edited by DentureDynamite

I usally kill anyone who comes near me or my objective or even if they are heading in my general direction. If you are close to me you are in danger. If I can see you in my scope you are most likely dead already.

The only people I don't kill are friends, crew, associates and players who ask me not to kill them.

If I'm killing a player and they ask me to stop I will, if they start heading towards me or my objective I'll kill them again as a warning to stay away. No peace towards CEOs and if players don't want to die i prefer they go passive but again if they do manage to message me or if I hear them over the mic asking me to stop (politely) i usally will, unless they have killed me or are apart of another organization.

No peace (for the most part anyway) doesn't always work because it can make working difficult. :) just last night I lost a full buy shipment due to a rival org 3 crates (technically I was the one to destroy the shipment but they would have if I didn't make the mistake I made). It's all in good fun and part of the game. I messaged the most effective player after a little street brawl 4-10 for me "good game bud, nice shooting" before I left. I bet he wasn't expecting that.

Edit: I prefer to be the only one working in a lobby so I don't have to worry about others running VIP work when I'm trying to. Nothing worse then cooldowns except waiting for another organization or being forced a cooldown because of other organization.

When I'm crating all I want is a peaceful session so I'll either text other CEOs to check we're on the same page or if I can't be arsed to do that I'll just keep a respectful distance and hope they do the same.

I guess it's because we are all doing the same thing so there's an unspoken agreement there but I've found I can coexist in the same space as another CEO without them wanting to aggro a lot more than I'm used to. Normally players can't seem to help but compulsively attack on sight but there have been several times that I've been jogging past other CEOs on the way to the office, parking up near to their cars without anyone feeling the need to put any mines down. It's refreshing.

All depends on what I am doing atm, if I am in no mood for fighting I will usually switch on passive and be on my way.
