CEOs: When you see others in Session...

  1. 1. How do you generally deal with other CEOs in Freemode?

    • Peaceful - no need to fight, we're all just trying to make a dollar.
      144
    • Cautious / Defensive - keep those hands where we can see them or there will be consequences.
      188
    • Aggressive - It's WAR, baby! It's either them or me... and it ain't gonna be me.

Cautious. Tonight was the first time I bothered trying to do ceo stuff with others aside from crew and friends in the lobby. Started out slow, a ceo came in and stuck to himself, then his friend showed up and we stayed out of each others way. Then another ceo came in and I advised that we're all friends here and if you're cool then we're cool.

We ended up having 6 different organizations going at once witg only 1 ceo on ceo kill, which was quickly apologised for on their part.

I made a few new friends and I expect to mostly do ceo stuff now in lobbies that will appear daunting to outsiders but is actually one big peace festival.

Its nice having a pact with numerous other CEOs where one of us getting attacked is like all of us getting attacked. I actually look forward to seeing aome randumb pull something and all of a sudden CEOs and company decend from all over.

I'm always cautious and defensive. I had two crates destroyed the first night, personal vehicles blown up, and taunts. It was on then. My crew and another crew were beefing like Bad Boy and Death Row. It made me wish that a stick up option was available and that we could rob other CEOs and associates for jewelry, money, or goods. Then that CEO could put out a bounty to get their stuff back within a reasonable time limit or pay a price for it back or simply have a chance to rob the other CEO back for your stuff and some of theirs.

Anyway, things have been on the easy side lately other than last night when a group started some stuff that they couldn't finish. I think I'll give the messaging a try. Let's all get this money.

Got messages from 2 guys on a lobby that they wanted me to mind my business and they'd do the same.

There are always people willing to do R*'s dirty work. I have my bodyguards on the lookout until it can be reasonably confirmed that the other guys are doing their thing and I can do my thing in peace. War over peanuts is for psychopaths. I want to earn some money.

I went out of my way today to try and let this dude know I was friendly, like beeping obscenely with my clown horn and keeping my distance. So I see he has associates running a delivery and I figured I'd escort them safely since it was a semi-full lobby and I had nothing better to do. His associates caught on but apparently big chief in charge didn't, he follows my car and gets out so I slow down thinking maybe he would like to get in to test my friendliness.

Mistake on my part, took a homing rocket right to the Reaper. So then I switched to troll mode, texted him saying that pretty much he should quit while he could or I'd make him then delivered on that promise :)

Maybe I went too far but honestly it's so draining when you try to be friendly in not so friendly game only to be scrubbed away by a homing missile noob doosh.

Moral of the story, be nice to other CEOs because thats the "gorram" standard!

Well you were in a supercar, had a clown horn, and were honking repeatedly. All those just mean troll. I would have killed you if you got close too.

This thread needs to be renamed to "trust issues"...

So late night I am sitting in an empty public session lobby. Another CEO joins. First he tries to vote me out. That fails. Then he offers me a sh*tty job as pre-taster and fan waver ..euh.. associate. I text him I am not interested. He gets upset I decline his most generous offer. Keeps on naggin me than he is trying to help me and we should help eachother.

I text him back: Just leave alone and then I will leave him alone. Finally he sends me a text that he is cool with that.

He starts collecting crates and I left.

I´m peaceful , I am usually focused on picking up the crates so I only do my business.some tried to destroy crates ( and some did destroyed 4 or 5 ) so I try to tell everyone that i m peaceful , that we should play our games and focus on our businesses ....

Sometimes I just hang out on the office roof, sniping anyone that comes by. Other times I mind my own business. Still other times, I get vote kicked in a few seconds.

This Sat night some members of my crew are getting together to make life miserable for any and every CEO we can find. Should be fun, hope to see some of you out there.

No Use For A Name

If it's a full (20+) session, I don't bother. Too many douchebags.

The ideal lobby is 6-8 players, with most of them being CEO/VIP. People tend to leave each other alone. If I enter a session like that, I message everyone and tell them I'm not hostile. Most of the time, they're cool and don't bother others.

If someone attacks me, especially if I'm doing a delivery, it's on. I'll stop whatever I'm doing and terrorize their organization until they leave or I get bored

Even if you are peaceful, people are still pricks. I was in a lobby for over 2 hours, myself soloing and another org of 3 all just going about our business. Out of nowhere All 3 roll up in a valkyrie, blast my cargo to bits and shout "WE OWN THIS ROOM BITCH!". Then I get called a everything you can imagine because I spawn kill them with a Hydra for 10 minutes straight until they leave.
A cautionary tale. If all is peaceful, don't poke the bear, you never know what kind of vindictive jackass you might awake.

Exactly the point I've been trying to put across but some kids have a hard time understanding that. IF I AM NOT SHOOTING AT YOU I AM NOT A THREAT, just curious.

Originally, I started out very peaceful, viewing it as a respect kind of thing. "Hey, we're both CEOs! Cool!"

That is until other CEOs and their associates started becoming total toolbags and attacking me, coming after my stuff, and being a general chemical nuisance.

So, I hate to admit it, but now I just attack anything that gets within reasonable distance to me.

And if I'm on the move, I'll attack anything in my path.

I've gone 100% honeybadger and as we all know by now, "honeybadger don't care!"

Same with us us yesterday, 2 CEO's doing there work, then this CEO joins and blows up someone's stuff, I voted kicked off out .. but really what was the point .. only 3 of us in the lobby. If you going to grief, go find a larger lobby.

I just play depending on how I feel in reality.

Sometimes I'll be peaceful. This is usually because I want to do my own things and I can't be bothered.

Sometimes I'll be helpful, killing players trying to destroy other CEO's crates and what not. This is usually because another person or group of people might of helped me recently and I'm feeling generous.

Sometimes I'll be aggressive, killing any player I can. This is usually because another person or group of people might have disappointed me recently.

I joined a session last night where there was not one CEO to be found, free aim session with 27 people, the session had 8 retards in jets and instead of switching, I installed this in my phone and activated it.

Works wonders when you join a session filled with hostiles and no CEOs.

Was in a lobby with several other CEOs minding our own business. Another CEO enters the lobby, as do three non-CEOs. About a minute later, there are four orange jets in the sky doing strafing runs on every single dot on the map...

-.-

I stopped CEO'ing until they were done. They sucked ass though, so it was literally two to three minutes before they all crashed and were back on the ground, LOL.

I've tried going about my business but there are people online specifically there to f*ck your sh*t up. I always wait until everyone has left the session before attempting any CEO jobs. Sometimes I'll give it a shot if I grab a couple of people working with me...but even then it can be a struggle.

  • 3 weeks later...

Bit of a bump I know, but I just wanted to post two very different responses to a peace text I received. My message:

"I'm just here to make money, peace."

The texts:

When I get that text for peace my reply is "I'm all for pvp but it's up to you. Come by once you're done".

Too focused on the money and crates, keeping to myself.

Why waste time, money, resources trying to screw over others? Hell, some of these kids could have invested real life money towards shark cards and these crates, I would never want to be responsible for them losing it completely and hurting them financially.

If I feel like killing other players/causing havoc, I'll play LTS where I'll get better money for doing so and not be a piece of sh*t.

Thank you.

You are an honorable person and your character is one too.

Honor among thieves
