Proxy glitch

Has anybody come across a glitch where proxy mines keep reappearing?

 

Last night I was in a server with one other player, went to LSC to sell a Felon and fell for the old proxy at LSC trick.

 

Anyways, grabbed another one from a block away and returned to find another proxy mine in the entry way.. So I shot it and sold my Felon. When I spawned again, there was ANOTHER proxy mine in the same spot, which was odd as the other player was in his apartment and had been the whole time.

 

So I decided to test it, spawned my T20 and pushed it near the proxy and then set it off, then grabbed another car, entered and exited the garage. Again after exiting the garage there was another proxy in the same place.

 

I tested this a few times (with my T20 - karma is a bitch) when I found a second proxy at one of the entrances. Tried it a few times on the second proxy with the same results.

Yes. It's been like this since proximity mines were introduced. Out of curiosity I left the game on one night, whilst in my garage with a rubber band around the controller (to stop me idling and getting kicked). I'd left 1 proximity mine at the entrance to LSC in the center of the city, and I had nearly 30 kills when I got up. I'd also claimed a few bounties, by the look of it, but had probably spent more on insurance.

This is old but strangely doesn't happen every time. I don't know why it seems to happen only sometimes.

They're doing all that online without cheats, that's 1337 imo

I'm always slightly embarrassed when it happens with one of my mines, especially in a high-traffic area.
