Crouching and free aim only.

So crouching has been missing since it was removed before release. Free aim only lobbies we're the only reason I played GTA online. Do you ever feel like these things are missing? You can't find a free aim only lobby on current gen.

I find free aim lobbies often and crouching was an unneeded feature that's more prone to getting you killed than anything useful.

I thought all of the current gen lobbies were mixed so even in free aim you could use auto aim? And actually your first natural response to something coming towards your head is crouch so...?

That's what cover was for. Crouching only really made sense in the few instances where the cover itself was wonky or you found a low level hedge of some sort. I don't really remember using crouch much, nor encountering crouchers in my time in GTA IV. That said, it won't hurt to have crouching, so why Rockstar removed it is a mystery. Then again Rockstar.

I definitely miss crouching because it DID had it's uses in the past games:

 

-Get into cover without needing to snap to a lower wall or car, which gives much more freedom of movement while cover;

 

-Decrease recoil of pretty much any much rapid-fire weapon;

 

-Increase accuracy of any shot you take;

 

-Stabilize your aiming with a Sniper Rifle.

 

They took this great feature and replaced it with an botched "stealth mode" that serves no use unless under specific scripted situations(mostly in missions).

It also helped when being on a rooftop. You were muss less exposed. I'd love to see it return. Hell, sometimes I still go in stealth mode because for a quick second I think it activates crouching... sigh.

To be fair...with the kind of weapons you got on pc...any automatic firearm exept for a few you can use in vehicles...they all became pretty obsolete because we got the minigun

Minigun range is sh*t, it's better to use the Combat MG, Marksmen Rifle or any assault rifle for mid to long range battles.

Minigun range is sh*t, it's better to use the Combat MG, Marksmen Rifle or any assault rifle for mid to long range battles.

 

 

beyond the range of the minigun...i use the marksman rifle in general
