Well it seems that it was on my part.

Usually I unplug my router for 30secs up to 1 min, but this time I unplugged it for more than 10mins.

 

Yesterday, I played for whole day without a single session split.

Now I don't think it won't happen again but I reduced it tremendously. It's much more playable now.

 

Besides, if players are so desperate to be alone in session I didn't try it but there are programs that create these kinda internet hiccups.

i had the same issue even though i tried it all. the conclusion was: my router is sh*t. and it's true. a technicolor 7200. so i bought a wifi router and plugged it in between. from that moment on (considerign the right settings) i had no issues anymore. NO ISSUES !

 

and the second most stunning solution:

 

ipv4 and ipv6. without going into detail, your ISP should give u an external IP adress (public ip adress). that way some issues regarding ipv6 is solved. i forgot which way round and what its called, but its googable.

Ah yep besides why does the op say its an issue well just sayin' good luck when a guy in a hydra causes problems and destroys ur crates I'm sure it will be an issue that u want to do ceo missions in a public lobby alone.

Let me clarify this.

Of course it's an issue if you have bad internet connection, regardless of advantages within the game.

It's always good to know that you have set everything right on your part and then you can have issues that you can't do anything about. Then I am all for taking the advantage of the situation

It's been happening to me every time I play since the update. Quite often I will come into online in a session on my own and have to switch 5 - 10 times before I find one with other players in it.

 

I agree with others who've posted to say that this is a R* issue, not at the user end - if it was a user issue it'd be like it all the time, but for me it comes and goes and is generally far worse after a DLC drops.

 

I have a constant 75MB download speed, 5MB upload and 18ms ping as a rule.

Hi guys,

As the title says, I keep getting alone in session throughout the day.

 

I get that it might actually be me who left, just that I see others leaving me.

I probably keep getting kicked in alone session but I don't lose internet connection.

Other games I play, I don't have this problem. My internet is fast(32mb/s) and I never lose connection.

 

I just uninstalled the game so I will see if that fixes my issue. Sadly I didn't know that I had to download the game again, thought it would take me to reinstall option but nvm I can wait another 3-4 hours for download to finish.

 

Anyway, if any of you knows how to fix the issue of being alone in session while I'm downloading the game, I'd really appreciate.

 

All players leaving is pretty random. Sometimes I play for 5mins in freeroam and sometimes I play for 2 hours and it happens.

This is really unplayable especially when you do VIP work with your bodyguards etc etc.

Sometimes I do contact missions and everything is fine but when I get back to freeroam it shows that all players left and I'm again alone.

 

Is this a common issue or can I do something to fix it?

Try to enter your router, and disable WIFI : "WiFi disabled" , and enable upnp

Then a random guy just join in, lucky i change session before he ruins my CEO works. I thought if you lag yourself out it will be a solo session forever, dont know random can still suddenly join in.

They can, but it's rare if you stay alone. I also like to set my online status to OFF (PS4), which will, at the very least, prevent that dude you friended 3 years ago that you never see from popping in and bringing his buddies. I was alone in a session last night for at least 10 hours with no uninvited guests.

I have two users on my ps3. When i log into the one.. In the first 5 mins it says players 'left' but when i log into the other one everything's okay. Help please

Same problem still persist. All online players left within a 1-2 minutes in GTA V online. So disappointing.... pls rockstar resolve these issue
