I do the photo-check thing and now I physically go into a bank only a couple times per year.

Getting cash into and out of a phone would need some serious Star Trek transporter-level developments, though. They still are having issues with cards with the chips!

It's possible to clear out the cash

 

 

If you have another character, transfer all your cash and banked money to cash in the other character's wallet. Switch to your (now broke) CEO character and enter the office, then switch back, re-bank the cash, then play as CEO again.

I never said it was fast or convenient.

...but changing the office decor only hides the contraband until you deliver the next crate.

Awesome ty. Ill eventually do this. Had a glitch once where it all disappeared but like you said after my next crate delivery it all returned. Glad there's some sort of workaround at least.

But does anyone know in what way? Is it affected when your total bank amount dips below the amount of your total warehouse sales?

 

For example: Let's you had $5M in the bank, then you made an additional $5M in warehouse sales for a total of $10M. If you bought an X80 for $2.7M, would it affect the money stacks? Since, technically, all the money that you made from sales is still there.

 

OR, does any [large] purchase affect the cash clutter regardless, forcing you to make more sales in order to maintain your ostentatious display of virtual wealth?

 

For people that have seen cash go down, did your purchase take your account balance lower than your total warehouse sales amount?

It's, from what I can tell, related to post FFAF gains. Nothing gained before the dlc contributes, however after running a pac stand I noticed an entirely new pile of cash on the floor so it is not restricted to warehouses. If you watch youtubers who went into the DLC with 50+ mil but only made a couple mil after the dlc their office will look no different than someone who started with nothing. From what I can tell based on my income/expenses the safe holds 1mil and each mound of cash on the floor is roughly 250k. It alters dynamically according to that but for some reason does not drain floor money before the safe, they go down together. At one point I was down to 500k, had a large stack still in the safe and a mount on the left side of my desk.

Well I've bought and fully modified the $2.7 million X80 for both my characters and it made no difference to the piles of cash in my office. I've also had my warehouses empty and still had product everywhere. Seems like the mess is there to stay in my office.

1. Livingroom

2. Boardroom

3. Personal Livingquarters?

 

Right now I am at 2-2,5mil and it did not start to clutter my livingroom yet.

 

Also ive bought n upgraded a X80 and resprayed some cars but the clutter remained the same. I did had 5mil left orso after buying all the CEO stuff, maybe it first needs to clear your cash prior to FAFF before it has an impact on the removal of clutter? Also I dont get the feeling anything else but crate sales cause clutter

Yes same for me. Also decreased when I spent money. Going from 2.9 mil to under 10k cleaned up all the cash except what was on the desk.

Weird, today my total sales reached just over 3mil and I got livingroom cash clutter. A moneypile by the window, one next to the couch and money on table.

 

Not so weird if you take into account that your post-update earnings and spendings factor into the equation, not just warehouse sales. That is what makes it quite hard to estimate, too, at what rate the living room etc. are affected. If I had to guess I would say the clutter hits the living room at a balance of ~4 mil and the board room at ~9 mil, but I could be off by a lot since I was still trying to figure out what does or does not contribute when I hit those marks and the places where money appears get a bit less predictable after a while. The living quarters hardly seem affected at all; there are a couple of notes on the floor near the door around the same time money starts appearing in the board room, but that is basically it. I think the clutter stops somewhere around 15 mil. I made another sale tonight and I could not pinpoint any new pile of cash, so either they were very subtle or the steps are now bigger than before or I have reached the "clutter peak".

What is weird, though, is how much money is lying around. Those are all $100 bills. A million in $100s fits neatly inside a small-ish briefcase. The office safe alone should easily fit my $17mil and then some. The whole office clutter makes it look like there are hundreds and hundreds of millions lying around which is quite excessive to say the least.

Okay so I am very confused now by how long the game retains the office clutter?

 

I have not done any sales for over a week now and also not been a CEO and the money pile in the office appears to be reducing but the

amount of stock lying around the floor has gone up?

 

Seems like the less sales you do the more stock you have in the office and vice versa, I really wish I had the hours to play properly at the moment

to try and figure this out.

My total money currently stands at 2.2 million but none of that is from recent CEO work, the total earnings from CEO is listed as 99,000

At 3.5 million in sales. Got piles of cash all around the desk area, up against the window & some lose notes on the table.

I've got less than 100k in the bank and all I have left is a briefcase of cash on the desk and a couple of rolls, all the floor money from bar-lockers-windows is gone.

I've had about 4.5m in sales done (and spent obviously and almost 2 full warehouses ready to sell.

Will be interesting to see if the cash comes back based on bank balance or total sales, in which case it should spill over to the tv if so.
