lol I thought that, but even so, we've all gone head first into collections for the first time and accidentally blown our own crate up?

 

 

I still do that, or just have something come up or get an invite from a friend and have to leave without completing.

 

I'm mid 600s, and plugging away at the gold slowly.

Regarding Special Items. I can say with certainty, that doing them back to back at speed (using luxury helicopter after missions etc), does reduce how many special items you are given.

 

I was going for 1000, during my final 200 I received only 1 special item. I hoped I'd at least get one more, to complete my collection of 6 again. Sadly I didn't. I stole number 1000, sold all my warehouses. The next day I get a phone call about a special item.

 

In other words, he is more likely to call if you take a rest from it. I unhappily ignored the call, but he called back the next day. How long I wonder, will he keep calling?

I'm doing single crate missions. Is there any correlation between getting collection missions that are 'collect the crate in your Buzzard' vs 'drive the van with the crate inside' back to warehouse? It seems to me that if I am the only person in the organisation, it will most likely give me a vehicle to drive. But if I have an associate, I am more likely to get the crate on its own, meaning I can fly it in my Buzzard.

I have the same. Once it generates the call, I think he will never stop calling until you attempt to steal it (or perhaps a regular crate steal will also work).

I think if you steal more than 1 at a time, so say you steal 2 and 1 is destroyed, it still counts as success on the stats.

250 crate runs - Glass Trophy

 

500 - Silver

 

1000 - Gold

 

That's the max. I'm probably missing one here (bronze) but I'm not sure if it shows up after or before the glass trophy.

Found it.

 

50 is black, 100 is glass and 250 is bronze. Everything else is the same.

Believe it or not but I just started doing mine again. I'm just north of 1600 and I'm gonna shoot for 2k crate missions.

Currently, I'm at 2413 collections. Shooting for 10 collectiona per day. Gonna deliver soon and make another $11,100,000. Probably hit 3000 collections two months from now at this rate. 20 collections per day would be out of the question. Good luck!

That's one way of looking at it. However, I take every 3 crate run I do as $42,000 profit. I'll have over $91,000,000 tommorrow. In a few days I will be over $100,000,000 to spend for the 2nd time. That many, for me is a brainache, but I know it's a real earner and am happy with my lil' old 28.5m. Had I spent more time or gotten some I can trust to sell (too many 'inside jobs', I sell in 8's to not need anyone), I'd be on the crates more than anything, easy, great cash, and as you showed, gave me no reason to ever need to cheat money or anything... A good CD on, an easy plod, until they made solo public become available either by luck or glitching. I try wifi, though it soon fills, I can usually get a couple in, then switch. Damn PvP.

 

No 100%'s to brag, a shame... But I've gotten around 28.5m from crates, 27.5m from I/E, 14m from all 5 MC businesses, 7.5m from the bunker, 17.3m from MC contracts, and dunno how much from VIP works... Along with the job money (missions/heists/races - 176m), I never once felt the need to have money. It's there as and when I wanted it, lol... 320m total earnings, and it's all me baby...

 

I tried with the hanger, but only sourced 7, I may get the trade prices, but not run the business. I don't need the money, plus it's a bit anti-lone wolf. I need a new reason to play so am hoping Decembers adds good stuff. Though, as much as I want gameplay. With 130 cars..

 

I need garages urgently. Peace dude, not far to get that 3000. Good luck.

Thanks and I wish you good luck as well. The game is definitely changing. Every new business solidifies that Rockstar wants players to make deliveries via teamwork instead of solo. The time might come when the current best two glitches for solo lobbies will be *cough* fixed. That means my crate endeavors will be over and cash flow will only come from biker/bunker sells. Until then...Crate on brothers...Crate on...

Finally got mine to 1000 after months of not playing it. It took some planning to make my final crate fill my last warehouse.
